ASHVARA

Woman In Chains is an anthem for freedom from abuse, domestic or otherwise. 
A heartfelt cry for gender equality in a world where such things should already be the normal. 
Unfortunately, women still have to endure this pain, and it's heart-breaking for them and for the majority of the male population that treat woman with the respect and kindness they deserve. 
This song is also totally beautiful and powerful, and one of Tears For Fears' very best tracks. I've done my best here to do it justice whilst making it my own in some small measure. 
I can't take full credit for the arrangement as I've borrowed some of the ideas from a far superior pianist than myself - and if he is reading this he will know I mean him - but I have modified much of it to suit my playing style. 
The piano track was performed on my trusty Nord Stage 3 and the vocals treated with Valhalla reverbs. 
So enjoy Woman In Chains, and let's always treat the woman in our lives with love and kindness.

The delicate melodies and lyrics are aimed as an embrace in sound for someone navigating pain, uncertainty, but also an immense amount of hope.

88_ Lost Art Dance Inspirations - released on 22 September 2025

I was at the Lost Art Festival Vol. 3 in Berlin on 13 September 2025. Light and sound installations and performances were shown in a soon-to-be-abandoned industrial facility. Music acts were also there, of course.
The only dance performance I attended was at the very end of the festival and didn't really impress me at first. But that changed! #ambient #contemplative #jazz #minimal #only5elements #liverecording

I see a meaning in the limitation to minimalist sounds. My work blends elements of post-punk synthwave, EBM, minimal techno and trance, merging the divided aspects of our being into a cohesive, transcendent experience.
