Expand Records proudly presents its 21st release which is a brand new single 'Out Of My Mind' by British producer Alt-A, backed with remixes by prolific Seth Vogt and mighty Under This.
Original mix is a beautiful blend of soulful female vocals, progressive leads and chords, warm atmospheric pads and fat deep bassline, which cuts perfectly through the tight and punchy beats. 'Out Of My Mind' has this distinctive warmth and sepia of sound, which is lacking so much these days.
Seth Vogt brings more power and drive with his remix, combining melancholic Proggy melodies with uplifting bass and rolling beats. Amazing piano chords in breakdown section adds more positive vibes and makes you want to dance instantly.
Second remix is delivered by Under This, who took the whole groove and mood into absolutely new direction. Keeping these soulful vocals Under This multiplied the warmth of sound with live slappy bass guitar, filtered Disco loops and tight beats, coloured with rich percussive backing. If you ever ask yourself how should sound Soulful Breaks - here's the answer.

'CYRAX & SEKTOR' is a prolific duo of brothers - David and Jose Maria Carrasco. David is the artist who deserves recognition for the 10 year career with his previous solo allias 'LITTLE BEAT', while Jose is the creative soul, who's been heavily involved in the project production since he was only 14 years old. Their collaborative project 'CYRAX & SEKTOR' began in the early 2012 and since then, the guys have established themselves as the explorers of new rhythms, executed flawlessly by their own unique brand and sound. While being fluent in a wide variety of styles and sub-styles of BASS MUSIC, ELECTRO, DNB, BREAKS and GARAGE the duo has been crafting proper dance-floor bangers which dominate the sets of DJs world-wide and consistently being released on top breaks labels such as FUNNDARK, MUSICATION, DISTORSION REC, BURAGUM and ELEKTROSHOK. In 2014 their collaborative project was awarded a well-deserved title of 'The Best Producers of Revelation 2014' by the Spain's prestigious 'International Breaks Awards'.

In 2020, we celebrate the first decade in the history of our label. At a time when RUNE Recordings remains one of the latest labels promoting breaks, we want to present our community all the variety of this genre in the next ten releases.

The album of remixes on the tracks of our leading resident — Mechanical Pressure — consists of twelve remixes made by artists from England, Germany, Spain, USA, Hungary, Latvia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Expand Records is the first Latvian breaks label and the unique creator of broken beats for the whole Baltic state territory at present. The main man, founder and head of Expand is the DJ/Producer Dmitry Kondrashov - front man of the band Under This. 
In 2012, two like-minded souls were invited by Dmitry to collaborate with him and later that year, Expand Records was launched. These collaborators were DJ/Producer Jevgeny Lobanovsky (better known as a Quadrat Beat) and DJ/Promoter Jevgeny Popov (aka Mr Djinn). 
Expand Records principle aim wasn't easy - their sounds must be remarkable, excellent quality and modern.  Shaking off the framework of a single style of music, they embrace solid groove and pumping rhythms - Expand Records now exists to widen your music taste and listening preferences. 
This breaks record label is very proud of the quantity and quality of tracks already released. Many of them show great results from the most popular online retailers in the world, such as Beatport.com and Trackitdown.com.  Every new release from Expand can be found in the Top 20, some even in the Top 5 amongst breaks music charts worldwide. 
With every new release, the geography of artists within the record label widens.  Expand successfully cooperates with artists from countries such as the UK, Spain, Russia, Hungary, United States as well as many more. It is not just purely a domain for the experienced and professional to air their work, Expand welcomes beginners and amateurs of the breaks movement also. 
After their 1st year of hard work, Expand was nominated for Best Breakthrough Label at the world famous Breakbeat Awards - Breakspoll. As a result, this first Latvian breaks label was placed in the Top 5, earning serious respect from the elite representatives of the World of Breaks. 
In 2013, in a bid to increase their number of the followers, Expand began to explore a new area within their music production. A brand new project under the hard-hitting title Straight Punch was launched, focusing on Electro and Progressive House styles of music.
