First released digitally in 2012, then on vinyl in 2013, Compuphonic feat. Marques Toliver’s ‘Sunset’ has proved an enduring hit with house lovers around the world. As such, the new yeaer will see it get further release, this time with brilliant remixes from Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof, Noema and Tim Engelhardt.

The original is a still fresh tune with pained male vocals layered over deep, heartbroken house beats. Neon chords flesh things out and the whole thing drips with a sombre sense of romanticism.

Esteemed deep house man Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof remix first and extend it into an eight-minute melodic masterpiece scattered with harmonics. It has a sense of drive to it that lifts you higher and makes it into a truly epic and steamy track.

Poker Flat artist Tim Engelhardt serves up two remixes. The first is a cosmic affair with arpeggiated synths rippling off into the skies as the rooted drums pop down low. The vocals feel even more heavenly in this version, while his second remix is more stripped back. Claps get your hips swinging and daubs of synth bring a playful feel to the still emotive track.

Lastly, Berlin based Noema goes deep with a shimmering mix that is layered up with xylophones, chords and wooden hits. It’s a sensuous cut that will infuse any set with real heartwarming grooves.

This is a carefully compiled package of remixes that add vital new spins to the still essential original.

Ahead of South African artist Aero Manyelo's beautifully composed contribution to Get Physical Music's Body Language series, the Berlin-based label is set to release two of the exclusive tracks by Laolu and Matin Waslewski featured on the mix. On "He a Savage", Laolu embarks on an atmospheric house mission built on upright drum kicks and wooden hits. An insular chord riff repeats itself throughout the track, with emotive piano keys and rattling snares adding to the intoxicating charm of it all.

ATL026 takes us to the warmth of spring with a sumptuous vocal courtesy of Jim for innovative French trio LKF Project, the combined vision of Adrien and Marc Antoine (aka Villanova) with Michel Saurin. The package includes very special remixes by Edu Imbernon, Innellea and BOg.
‘Tongue Tied’ continues ATLANT’s mission to find unique and memorable vocal tracks that cross genres to provide those special club moments. Innellea turn ‘Tongue Tied’ into a simmering, vibrant, percussive gem as they extend the lyrics across the track. Thrashing echoed lines become ever more urgent before an addictive hook now takes over as the club waits to erupt. These Innellea guys just get better and better !
Closing out ATL026 is our very own head honcho. On receiving the raw demo BOg immediately had a personal vision for this release and just knew he had to remix ‘Tongue Tied’. With a maturity in approach BOg weaves one of his magical sonic journeys, at first teasing with a solitary repeated arp as the unique vocal takes centre stage before adding deep bass pules and elegant layers. The track builds almost subconsciously, drawing the listener in deeper, entrancing you with the purest of melodies before gently ebbing away as the beats ride out ... making you lost for words.
