Hailing from Liege in Belgium, David Body has been put on our radar with releases on the fine Endless Music — but this EP for Exploited’s Black Jukebox series looks set to propel him to a new level. 

‘I Bird You’ is a seriously charming affair, led by a colourful, sugary-sweet refrain that twinkles and sparkles in cute fashion. A warm deep house groove crafted through swirling Rhodes chords builds the vibe before the flowery melody explodes into life, pushing the track into an altogether more magical direction.

‘Jack Me Baby’ channels rubbery bass and a galloping house beat, with minor piano chords creating a dramatic feel as a classic vocal sample whoops away in delight. The enormous snare-rolled propelled build-up thrusts the track into overdrive, with a delightful, balmy synth line woven in to provide a mystical counterbalance. 

‘The Talking Mouettes’ is a supremely feel-good slab of Balearic-tinged house, with choice piano chords cut up and cascading over a high-energy groove. Big squelchy melodic bass wiggles under the chords and shoulder-popping chime riff, with plenty of power and punch scattered throughout to keep the vibes rolling.

‘Endless Love’ is an absolute monster to close the EP, a soaring, triumphant electro beauty that overflows with euphoric melody and ecstatic, eyes-closed-and-rolling tingles. It just keeps building and building through layer upon layer of synth mastery to an explosive, epic climax.

'After the big success of our first EDIT SERIES with German chief DELFONIC, Nómada Records feels like doing a new edit series in order to keep paying a homage to the roots of HOUSE MUSIC. Nómada Records joins forces again with Marcus Lindner a.k.a DELFONIC to present DELFONIC EDITS Pt. II where genres such as Disco, Afro, Funk, and Boogie are the strong dish. As we know DELFONIC has created and managed plenty of labels and released music on well known labels such as Money $ex Records, Oye Records and Toy Tonics.


DELFONIC EDITS is a four track EP which opens with “Don’t Stop Dancing” a 70’s fresh dance track with a infectious pecussion, strong strings, warm synths and powerful vocals followed by “Into The Stars” a brazilian bombshell where boogie and funk match perfectly. Perfect track for chilin and start the night. The B-Side is a homage to afro funk and dance scene “Let The Music Take Control” a 70’s eclectic dance turned into an infectious deep mood dj that will make you dance all night long. and last but no least the release close with “Into The Galaxy” it’s an edit of one of the funkiest track ever made by rare disco rock band “WAR”.'

Premiere: Delfonic - Let The Music Take Control [Nómada]

'Taking a break from his recent string of hit vocal collaborations Athenian producer/DJ George Bakalakos, AKA NTEIBINT returns with 'True', a new instrumental track that expertly marries a taut, sinuous bass line and 90s house stabs with delicate percussive loops, a rattling drum break and airy vocal samples to sublime effect. 

“I wanted to create a follow up to last year’s Colours and had this idea to try and write, something almost delicate, a kind of ballad that you could easily fit into a set alongside big room tunes on a bass heavy soundsystem,” explains George. “So I was vibing away, combining different sounds and styles from the dance music spectrum and came up with True, a mix and match of breaks and big bass sounds but with these soft and emotional vocal hooks that places it somewhere between R&B and House music territory.” 

The result is a surprisingly subtle leftfield gem, whilst the bass line dominates the track and is sure to sound incredible booming through a club sound system, it’s the additional elements George weaves throughout the track that elevates it to something truly special.'
