Today is a very special day for us at Dilate Records we celebrate our quarter century release "0.25" coming from good friend Chris Kusterer aka PHCK.

We've truly been blessed to have such amazing remix artists join forces for this release Timelapse & The Ancient Memories (Connaisseur, Akbal Music) & Rancido (Innervisions).

The original by PHCK is very much an organic but driving sound keeping all things groovy and deep. Nice vocal placements and deep chord give the track an elegance with stabs pushing the track in the right direction, towards a summer rooftop parties.

For the first remix we asked Rancido to do something special and thats exactly what we got. He kept to the vibe of the track perfectly but added crunchy precautions and a more groovy base putting the remix straight onto most dancefloors across the world. 

Timelapse & The Ancient Memories moved their remix into a more dark techno place with one shots of vocal edits and low pitched techno percussion making sure it hits the peak time slot of every underground dj set.

Man of mystery Enduro Disco received plenty of plaudits for his first three releases on Exploited Ghetto. Something tells us that this new contribution to Exploited (originally released on Vinyl Only on Shir Khan's helmed Black Jukebox series) will set plenty of pulses racing, too. Check first the dreamy and loved-up roll of opener "The Knowledge", which sounds like a house remake of a lesser-celebrated 1980s Miami synth-pop cut, before sinking your teeth into the swirling, piano-sporting late night house bliss of "Believe". 
"The Knowledge" introduces the EP through a slow and steady climb, wobbly bass shards and a suspended pad holding our attention as the excitement levels rise. "Believe" sees the first proper rush of endorphins burst off the wax, as a scintillating synthetic soundbed ripples and fizzes through our core in a exquisite display of blissed-out prowess.

The twelfth batch of fruits from our fruit orchard have been picked, and are ready to taste.

The deep melodic sounds of French producer Quatri have a depth and uniqueness that is hard to quantify or draw comparisons against. His detailed and emotive production style, which made its foundations at imprints like Oleeva Records and Nie Wieder Schlafen, is quickly turning underground heads.

The title track "Vendet" sits firmly in Quatri's signature style. Surrounded by a crisp drum rack, atmospheres weave in and out, through flutes and influences from the World. "Who Are You" is a lot more clubbier of the two. With brass Parisian elements and a hefty kick, the track will pick up the flow in a set in no time.

The EP is closed off by two remixes from two exciting producers in the scene; Joe Miller and Padre.

Padre's Ceremonial Mix strips everything back, and lets the track breathe. Created in mind for DJs who want to add their own drum beat, the harnessed darkness of Padre's Ceremonial Mix is a testament to his carefully selected taste and producing style.

From the kindest Australian on the planet, Joe Miller's remix carefully respects the original, while refocusing & stripping down elements to take you into a calmer state. Signed to labels like All Day I Dream, Traum + more, and support from Lane 8 and Robert Babicz, Joe Miller is one to look out for.
