AIKON returns to Exploited with two hot new tracks after storming the Beatport Indie Dance chart in 2021 with releases on Diynamic and Musumeci’s Multinotes label. With further releases on Monaberry and Disco Halal, he has been seriously in demand. He’s also putting out music through Adana Twins’ TAU imprint this year.

‘Night Rider’ is a killer, authentic electro groove, where vintage drum machines mete out a tough breakbeat rhythm and nagging bass synths pulse under formant-shifting mouth harp style synths and a dramatic lead hook. A moody breakdown reveals a juicy 8-bit vibe melody, and everything comes together beautifully after a teasing build and dramatic drum fills provide some punctuation. 

‘Street Dancer’ continues the sparse feel with metallic textures grinding against another stark, spacious breakbeat rhythm, and tightly-clipped synth arpeggios that recall Kraftwerk in their minimalist efficiency. An old skool breakbeat fills in the breakdown, and various subtle FX and vocal samples pad out the track with a heady, atmospheric feel.

From laidback house vibes to soaring techno, the sixth instalment of the Picture series covers the artists full spectrum.

Diynamic Musics Picture: series is a document in time, showcasing an artists current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualise and understand the artist at a certain moment. It is not an album format, but far more than merely an EP. Picture: is various dancefloor-oriented facettes of one producer, shaping the imagery that ultimately results in the listeners mind.

We are turning the page of our next edition of 'Terra Incognita', the third edition full of different and diverse paths it can lead the listeners to. Starting we reveal Habischman - the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire's SCI+TEC and Get Physical. 'Aperture' comes as a great opener, conjuncted as a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, who is putting out his music lately with Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, can definitely make the synthesizers breathe. His 'Overdub' is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which are coming together as a great tune as a result. US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, so the stated words of Enamour to be a 'a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres' is perfectly describing this talented producer at his best. 'Pet Paradox' is a firm thing, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper 'Matka' next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. We close a pack with 'Hong Kong Harbour' track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE). This work, mainly exposing with the main detuned synth sound, is finishing the exploration of another Terra Incognita, which became known to you now. Grasping 2020 as the year to remember, we are unfolding 2021 with the highly-anticipated release from our Argentian friends Bridado Crew & Ubbah, who already shared their musical ideas with the remarkable split releases on Eleatics in 2018. This time Brigado Crew duo, who has already released their music via Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent and Eklektisch, joins Ubbah for 'Too Late' EP. The main track 'Too Late' is a driving banger, which is extensively concentrating ones' attention with the effective and bursting bass-line and low-end work. Vocals from the Australian singer Winnick are becoming the epicentre of the dynamic and explosive track, which will lit the focus of those, who love the floor-working things. Random synth playouts altogether with the noticeably working bass sounds plus the standalone Winnick's vocals takeover certainly bring the feeling of the energy. French producer Damon Jee had a fruitful 2020 year with the releases on Correspondant, Critical Monday and Fine Human from a few to mention, which led him to be one of the most sold artists of Indie Dance genre on Beatport. Known for his dark-disco brand style, Damon is shaping his remix catching the laid-back groove around main sounds from the original track multiplied with the dark-disco sound inherent to the remixers' sound. 'Time Moves On' has a very symbolic name. Mellow and palatable vocals alongside the melodic leitmotiv of the track are certainly bringing the right mood. Doctor Dru is the artist known for us since the previous decade. Releasing with Diynamic, Mobilee, Flying Circus and his own Jeudi Records, Doctor Dru has always been a figure to watch.
