The latest addition to the Steyoyoke roster is Brazilian bombshell BLANCAh. Her vocals already feature on some of the labels releases, but 'Who's That' pushes BLANCAh even more forward into the limelight and moves her up to sit at the producers table. It's her debut EP for Steyoyoke and, with no exception, it dishes out the quality synonymous with the labels success. 'Who's That' comprises of one original, a radio edit and two remixes from fellow Steyoyoke greats Sasch and Soul Button.

The title track opens with a rich atmospheric vibe and elegantly carries BLANCAh's own vocals with dark grace. Backed by a steady beat and swirling synths, the track then steps out of the shadows to flirt with the mischief of the night. 

Sasch draws a more playful element out of the original. With subtle disco licks, a shuffling rhythm and a melodic core, this remix will have you grooving away before you know it. 

The second remix from Soul Button is more subdued and focuses a little more on the tracks deeper components. He draws out a darker side of 'Who's That', with his signature rolling melodies and layered soundscapes.
  
Steyoyoke's second anniversary party is set for March 14th at Ritter Butzke in Berlin and paves the way for BLANCAh's first appearance for the label, which is perfect timing to coincide with the launch of her debut EP 'Who's That'.

Schleiermacherstrasse is part of Stiff Little Spinners Vol. 6 (Audiolith).

Stiff Little Spinners enters it’s 6th volume with a 5 track package spanning the widest sonic spectrum imaginable. Its tracks, in typical Spinners fashion, range from r&b influenced house grooves to shimmering, broken-beat, new-age garage swing. Gimmix & Zorro prove their penchant for urban slow jams with a dance floor flavour. Their opener Oveile builds in a slow, sleazy fashion, eventually trading its more unpredictable drum arrangement for a sturdy 4/4 rhythm. The melody surges harmoniously, navigating the walls of its club-ready time signature, a phenomenal introduction to a mind-blowing collection of tracks.   Rampue slows things down on the A2 with Schleiermacherstrasse; a tripped-out, hazy roller with enough chime to hypnotise an entire stadium. This is not to say Volume 6 contains big room tracks, but rather the music’s power commands attention. This is certainly true for Kalipo’s Mäusemarsch, which whirls, in mesmerizing fashion achieving a climax fit for the party at its peak.   Krink’s Close Distance is perhaps the darkest sounding track offered by the Spinners - it seriousness and condensed energy is bound to leave audiences sweating, until its ferocious bassline gives way to soaring synths and jarred drums.   Joney changes the formula altogether - his sophisticated K-Hole Surfers offers a chugging, dubbed out roller which owes as much to techno as it does to dubstep. It is perhaps unsurprising from the track’s title that one feels like they are riding a rather erratic wave, delving in and out of our universe.   Already on their 6th volume, and churning out high-quality, club-ready tracks, this collective is set for big things.

STIFF LITTLE SPINNERS:
Spending a night listening to the same music over and over again most-likely isn’t a source of joy. To prevent this particular scenario the group of DJs and producers of the Audiolith cosmos decided to delve into new musical realms. Thus the project “Stiff Little Spinners” was born, uniting the diversity of Techno and House, to create a sampler which shall display this certain diversity.
The sampler’s prelude, a soft song named “Pendelverkehr Ab Ostkreuz”, is contributed by Rampue and shines a completely new light on him. Soulful vocals and an almost dreamy sound – just the right thing to continue where one hasn’t really left off at night.
Rampue is followed by Kalipo, the new solo project by Frittenbude’s producer Jakob Häglsperger. With his song “Time Will Tell” he creates a diversified, propelling piece of music, which never happens to get boring - instead constantly maintaining its thrills.
The third track originates from Mendoza, who delivers the sampler’s peak experience for those very special moments at a club with his hybrid of Garage and House, “Hugo”.
The whole compilation is rounded off by Krinks’ “Better Than That” and Gimmix’ “Fenja” – two atmospheric tracks with beautiful background vocals, which convey the feeling to simply close one’s eyes and float away from one’s daily hustle.
But that’s not all there is to it – in the end the Stiff Little Spinners still remain hungry and thirst for more. Thus it is to be expected that Audiolith will present quite some more releases and events under the banner of Stiff Little Spinners.

The Hidden Oasis EP coming from the land of Oz, is the result of a series of collaborations between Uone and Western in Sydney.These two grooving deep tech house jams are inspired by primitive sounds, but maintain a modern feeling with layerings of instrumentation juxtaposed with sizzling synths. By recording real percussion and capturing raw takes of late night analogue jams, the duo capture a unique electronic sound while maintaining an organic vibe. 

Fellow Australian, and co-owner of Multi Culti Records, Dreems, delivers a psychedelic pitched down interpretation of "Tribal Paradise". The infectious bubbling baseline carries the listener on a wild ride thru the dusty bush, fueled by analogue distortion and percussive madness. Jonas Saalbach from Berlin, takes us further into the oasis delivering a beautiful uplifting remix of "Gold Sacks River". Swirling arpeggios and lush pads expand and build over the hand clap beat climaxing into a deep acid groove. The artwork by Helia Jamali draws us a visual map of the music, guiding us to the elusive "Hidden Oasis", a desert destination that can only be discovered after journeying down the "Gold Sacks River" and arriving at the secret "Tribal Paradise."

They belong to one of our favourite DJs in Berlin. Only by accident they became a duo. Berlin’s infamous underground spot Golden Gate offered both DJs two solo slots. 
Heiko and Martin were fighting each other over who should be allowed to close the party. 
They ended up playing back to back for 8 hours and since then call themselves: ’Kotellet & Zadak’
- or as they describe themselves in one of their highly entertaining online mixes:
’Hallo. Mir san Kotelett & Zadak. Des is der Sound from Outter Space.’
Besides their legendary late night appearances in Berlin’s hot night spots they also run their own underwear fashion brand - and sometimes they fire out dancefloor bombs like ’Crave Dave’, ’Sons Of Attica’ or ’Panotica’. Welcome back Heiko&Martin!
