Ede is a hypnotist.
No for real - this is not just a cool figure of speech to make you interested in this record. He actually learned the art and science of hypnotizing people, connecting you with the deepest parts of your subconscious to make desirable changes in your life.
This is also kind of what these tracks did for us the first time we heard them. Putting us in a deep and blissful state of trance and making our lives better.
First, we have Buzzing, which does just what it says: buzzing like a bee trapped in a honey jar. Full of restraint, always teasing, but ready to explode at any minute.
Next comes Rave Code, which again does just what it says: giving you the code to the rave. One of the ballsiest beats we heard in forever, mixed with extra-hard hands in the air rave signals.
Auggie's remix takes Rave Code up a notch. Expertly twisted and mangled, with a lot of room to breathe and an absolutely insane break, this one is for the peak-time floors.
Aera's reduction of the remix basically just trims the fat and makes things a little bit easier to digest.
This time, the artwork is provided by LiorHZ, who has recently made some waves with amazing artworks for a whole bunch of labels we love.

A tough job to remix Sandhog’s latest weapons, but Exploited Club have picked two consummate producers to do an excellent job.
Brazil’s Renato Cohen is a perfect match for ‘Accent’, bringing his new school electro/Italo touch to the proceedings. With a knowing nod to New Order’s monumental classic ‘Blue Monday’ in its snare fills and chord progression, his remix gets to work immediately with a snaking arpeggiated bassline weaving its way through and snappy drums, eventually unfolding into that familiar melody as bright pads glisten and live handclaps add an organic touch. Almost psychedelic touches of twanging FX deck out the outer edges of the track, and a manic siren-like synth blast ups the energy further. Funky percussion is drafted in with a touch of acid later on to keep things fresh, making this a hugely engaging remix throughout.
Fabrizio Mammarella does the damage on his version of ‘Nechama’. Teasing us slowly with ticking techno percussion that ebbs and flows, he gradually reveals the synth chords amidst giant snare hits and pulsing cymbal rides. A huge melodic acid line juts into view, taking us deeper into Mamarella’s futuristic groove, before the full fanfare of the colourful lead riff is unveiled in the breakdown—making for a truly explosive climax.

Niv Ast is an electronic producer and a DJ based in Tel-Aviv.
He’s inspired by the psychedelic waves of acid, the attitude of the Punk-Rock and the light headed groove of Disco.
In the last couple of years he’s been touring constantly around Europe, playing in iconic venues like Opium Club in Vilnius, Le Sucre in Lyon, Silencio & Petit Palace in Paris, ‘Calvi on the Rocks’ festival in Corsica, and The Block in Tel-Aviv, to name a few.
Niv Ast's brand new and very anticipated live show is a solid electronic performance which is based on his originals materials, designated for clubbing peak time hours.
It includes distorted electric Guitars, a percussionist, keyboards, electronic drums (SPDs) and hypnotizing vocals, creating a pounding and intoxicating experience, full of pleasurable hooks and acidic sounds.
His latest releases have seen light on renowned labels around the globe, such as Optimo, Correspondant, Ombra International, SC&P, Hard Fist, Relish, Calypso Records, Blue Shadow and many more. In addition, Niv Ast is the label boss of the imprint ‘New Day Everyday’ alongside Eliezer, which is an embodiment of their idea of dance-floor electronic music to the likes of Indie enthusiasts and disco lovers.

Sandhog (with an upcoming release on Blue Shadow Rec) lands on Exploited Ghetto with an excellent EP that truly stands out from the crowd and which was already supported by Chaim heavily. 

‘Endless Dimension’ is a quirky, mystical track driven by a rubbery, bouncing bassline, springy hi-hats and a plump kick. The rest is left to a heady mixture of squelchy synths, Eastern flute sounds, the resonant twangs of a mouth harp and peaceful birdsong. Rolling bongo rhythms and gentle snare rolls add flavour at the right moments, while the synth modulation adds to the track’s living, breathing feel.

AIKON provides a deeper, chunkier remix, taking an almost early 1990s progressive house feel. The atmospheric feels are dialled up, and a hypnotic drive is created. Filtered electric guitar chords add another psychedelic touch, and the mouth harp is looped to brilliant effect to create an evolving pulse that undulates through the track. The reverb on the flutes also adds a lot to their mysterious feel, putting you in the mind of a wild jungle trek.

‘Penang’, named after the Malaysian state, shows Sandhog in a more dancefloor-focused stride. A snappy rhythm and monotone bass pulses underpin fizzing synth blasts. Bluesy guitar licks interplay with proto-trance synth sweeps to make for an unusual melange. Electric guitar plucks add to the swinging groove, trippy vocals add another layer of energy and the whole affair is a refreshingly different and colourful experience. It’s a unique sound indeed.
