663 days of work on this song + the story + the animation. This is my peak. No management, no record label, no publisher, nothing. Just an overly ambitious guy in his bedroom trying to make a funny girl play flute. The OG ping was a bit of a mess that I made for a contest, but this? This has actual LORE related to flutes and Discord. A new beginning for my channel. Discord is pretty much my home now. Title track off the Save This World EP! A deceivingly wholesome deity receives orders from the sun God to eradicate miscreants. Storywriting, designing, modelling, rigging, shading, animating, syncing, painting, so many components that went into this project. I always underestimate the pace needed to complete a fully-fledged music video. Can't complete more than a few such megaprojects in my lifetime. Fun facts: The original song "Exyl - Barcode Valkyrie" might be familiar if you heard my mix from last year. I scrapped the “Valkyrie” theme, but the song title is really badass for some reason… so I kept it. Been quietly working on it for a while. I Wouldn't be here today without geometry dash. Literally, I discovered electronic music for the first time thanks to this game. To this day, it's still one of the biggest remaining communities of electro fans, and I cherish that. Its creators are hella talented. This song is a tribute to GD because I'm excited for its 2.2 update. Happy 10th birthday to gd :)
