Athens based artist Analog Trip (Kosmas Katimertzis, born 1972) Is owner of Elektrik Dreams Music Label ( www.elektrikdreamsmusic.com ) At the early age of 17 the young artist experimented with monophonic analog synthesizers, drumcomputers and vinyl , playing at local bars, and while studying at university a few years later, he became part of an Electro group called VCF, already known for their live gigs at Athens popular clubs Factory, DOM and the Wild Rose.Officially entered in the electronic scene in 1996 along with George Moog with a CD which was circulated 25.000 times by a for that period well known Dance magazin (Lemon). Since this success, which included airplay on CoolFm and LifeFm , Klik FM, Best Radio Analog Trip was referenced among many Greek artist and invited to play his sets on various old classic dance floors like Plan B, Face the music, Camel Club,Astron, Orbit, Zoo, Loop (Resident for 8 continious years) and Mommys.In the summer the artist also appeared on Paros and Naxos, Monastiri, Linardo, Santa Maria and Cafe Del Mar , Splash Naxos and among others to promote his music.Recently Analog Trip's music appeared on Gravity Recordings, featuring "Galeraki Mykonos Chillout Moods and Grooves", next to "Cafe Caprice", a more atmospheric style but none the less accompanied with his own freestyle/tribal/deep and tech sound.Has worked with artists as Nikos Diamantopoulos, Blend Mishkin, Addex, Big Al, Rishi K., George Apergis, Ilias Katelanos, Leo Mars and other.Has played in various festival as European Music Day and many other.In 2008 created his own record label called Elektrik Dreams Music and released several remixes on labels as Ready Mix , Blue Orb, Night Child, Family Grooves, Dark Pleasure , Klik and Ambiosphere

Facing The World Alone

Martin Eyerer , Ackerman & Lou deliver the excellent vocal led Equilibrium on Mexico’s Tenampa label that's been causing a fuss for several years now, and with this release about to land, the fuss will certainly be continuing further.

Equilibrium EP is a melodic deep workout graced with that hauntingly cool vocals from Lou, kind of jazzy edged in style, which sits wonderfully over the quirky melodic techno bed that Martin & Ackermann have expertly crafted.

Stefan Z is on remix duties, and utilize the melancholic vibes of the original, but toughens things up, while also strips it right back. Cool vocal effects add a trippy vibe, while this rework powers along. The haunting organ line creeps in later on adding depth, and turns this into a fine remix.

Release date: November 23rd.

Today we have a truly classic track with us as our PHW / PHW Elements Christmas Gift, as we see the track that really kicked things of from this absolutely amazing talent from the UK, the one and only Toby Hedges and his timeless production ”Mirai”. It feels like just around the corner, and still it is almost 3 years since this track arrived to the world. About the original there isn't a thungs that haven't been said over the years, and we leave it like that. We are certain all prog lovers remember this PHW signing. 

Though we see it coming back, and what is better than bringing another tremendous producer back on it, and whipp on a total remake of it. Our good buddy and co worker on PHW, Eleve is giving this worldwide recognized track his tweak and twist, and the out come is fair to say absolutely superb with a juicy groove, cool vocal elements added on together with the laid back and yet pumping feel. We absolutely love it, and hope to see a lot of attention for it, as it is what it deserves, super work Jarl as always!

Toby Hedges - Mirai (Eleve Remix)

We are pleased to see our Argentine buddy Julian Dep returning to PHW Elements. being with us on original back in April, we felt it was time to bring him back with his deep/tech progressive wonders and he definitely strikes again with this tight and crisp production called “Private Atmosphere”. Bea ready for sweeping pads, groovy percussion and sweet melodies.

On remixes, you are to get another fine selection artists, with our Dutch maestro Difstate returning once again. As always you will get a fantastic melodic journey from him, with this deep soothing kick drums, warm basslines and this time with a great vocal addition as well to spice things up nicely. It’s as good as ever from him, and we do feel this is another gem coming up from the Dutch producer. 

To complement the release, we see 2 brand new faces joining our label, that we have been eager to get among us. First we talk about one of the finest producers based in Brazil, Tiago de Renor join us. With a really nice interpretation built with vocal chops, cool synth work and dirty grooves built through bouncing bass lines, he for sure express himself with a true winner.

Next up, we head off to Argentina again, as we see the brilliant Maxi Degrassi join the family of PHW and our Elements division. With a string of releases through labels such as Plattenbank, Sudbeat, Crossfade and many many more, he’s proved his skills many times, and we are of course thrilled bring him on. This is deep and warm interpretation, packed with cool percussion, well selected pads to bring on a great harmony to the big grooves built through vocal adds and well working bass lines.

With Vintage & Morelli's debut artist album just around the corner, it's our great privilege to present the standout first single, "Daydream". Premiered recently on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio show, this breathtaking track not only best represents the Serbian talent's dynamic and versatile sound, but also is truly one of his finest compositions to date.

A patient, heavily filtered groove and piano-based lead set a deep and mysterious tone in the early going. The sensual soundscape is enhanced by haunting vocal accents, as well as resonant bass layers (an artist signature). As the opening build begins to wind back down, gorgeous piano lines begin to emerge, setting the stage for an awe-inspiring breakdown. Specifically, in the break, the emotive piano theme is joined by a plaintive "Who are you" vocal refrain. Energetic, trance-influenced synths follow, creating an aura of almost overwhelming suspense. Finally, the deep rhythm drops back into the mix, which crescendoes to absolutely glorious effect.

The incomparable Shingo Nakamura begins his eighth year as a contributor to our imprint with the one and only remix of "Daydream". Fans of the Japanese virtuoso are already well aware that he is capable of writing superlative music in a wide variety of genres; given the deeper vibes in the original mix, he has chosen to inject a shot of adrenaline into his interpretation. Side-chained pads and electrifying chords establish the peak-hour sound early. In the breakdown, the gorgeous piano motif from the original mix is solo'd and then later joined, once again, by layered, goosebumps-inducing pads and chords. The drop to follow is absolutely thrilling -- easily one of the most emotive, intelligent, and anthemic arrangements of Shingo's storied career.
