O Everthing I Ever Wanted...

This is a live recording of a song I completed for a university assessment in December 2015. The subject comes straight from my heart; I have struggled, as many do, to feel truly wanted, or to have found a place where, or group of people with whom, I feel I can really be myself. Much of this stems from being adopted and there is already plenty written about this so I shall not elaborate here. The tune and harmonies are all written by me and were scored in Sibelius at the time of writing. Copyright of the music, lyrics and sound recording belong solely to me. 
My thanks go to Anna Stokes and Pearl Love who accompanied me for this live performance from January 2016.

This song is a tribute to Glastonbury festival, which has sadly been cancelled for the second year running due to the Covid pandemic. Whilst composing this, I was revisioning all the cherished memories I have from the festival: listening to beautiful music, eating wonderful food and watching the sunset with my mates, before dancing the night away. This song reflects my longing for those moments again.

Ezmay Grace is a contemporary folk musician from Cornwall. Having lived in Falmouth from 2015 to 2018 completing a music degree, she now lives back at home in North Cornwall writing and recording original music, playing gigs in a variety of venues, vocal coaching, and choir leading. 

Ezmay Grace is a BBC Introducing artist and has featured many times on BBC Radio Cornwall's BBC Introducing show. She has also had the opportunity to play on stages at festivals across the South West such as Tunes on the Dunes, The Little Orchard Cider Festival, The Great Estate Festival, Leopallooza and Boardmasters Festival.
