LX is a jungle & drum bass DJ based in Cambridge Uk.

LX was introduced to jungle, hardcore and D&B through mix tapes passed among friends in Sheffield in the 90’s. A regular at the premier Sheffield club nights ‘NY Sushi’, ‘Drum and bass Arena’ and the Tuesday club, his passion for the music has matured over the years and over time built an eclectic collection of early jungle through to current day DnB. 

LX insists on playing tunes that sound great with no bias towards any sub genre only accepting quality vibes and intricate production. In the early 00’s lX and a team of Manchester students set up the NOIZE events in central Manchester where Lx was resident DJ and occasional MC. He then went on to live in Chiba Japan and teamed up with the Mirai crew in Tokyo supporting events headlined by Makoto, Black Sun Empire and Wildchild.


Today LX continues to explore the diversity of sounds at 140-180bpm that make people move and groove. You can catch LX every now and then at Earth - a new Cambridge event which started in Summer 2024 at the Blue Moon Pub.
