Flowrian - Bukem In Session Mix 2014

In the lead up to their appearance at Drum&BassArena - 19 Years @ Heaven in London on May 24th, we caught up with Blu Mar Ten and scored this vintage mix from '96. 19 years old and still sounding suave, it's matured like a fine wine. Recorded onto cassette with 2 belt-drive turntables (as they were too broke for Technics at the time), and a mixer with no EQ, this is a true piece of D&B history. One for the heads.

Lenzman
Lenzman is a DJ and producer who exhibits tremendous talent in the many peripheral footholds of Drum & Bass. The course his career has taken in the last few years is an enviable journey many only strive to achieve. As testament to a dynamic musical upbringing, Lenzman’s style and sound has coalesced from his early involvement with a Hiphop collective, an ongoing love affair with Soul music, and having witnessed the life and demise of London's Blue Note club.

Dan Stezo
Originally started in the Hiphop scene, Dan crafted his style and microphone skills with approval of local soundsystems. When long time confidant Lenzman introduced Dan to Drum & Bass he found a new passion and began to start making a name in the Dutch scene. To broaden his horizon Dan explored different genres and performed at all the top Dutch venues and festivals. Dan Stezo released tracks Dan Stezo released music on various Dutch imprints such as BMKLTSCH RCRDS, Hardsoul Pressings and Spinnin Records.
