Bertolt Meyer is a professor, DJ, producer and avowed modular enthusiast, who was born without his lower left arm. Instead of allowing this to hinder his creative pursuits, Meyer hacked a prosthetic that allows him to control some parameters of his modular setup with muscular signals sent directly from his mind.

As an artist, Meyers makes dynamic, emotive house and techno with dancefloors in mind. His debut release ‘Walk The Night’ on DESSERT encapsulates his truly unique approach in the form of two club-ready productions, with a remix courtesy of Hannes Bieger. 

Say It To Me is one of two productions. It is a dynamic deep house/techno number which is built on undulating arpeggios and uptempo drum patterns. It is shaded with a strong sense of wistful melancholia, building to a stunning diva vocal moment in the break.

Using rolling percussion and a thumping kick, Luigi’s four track EP starts with a bang as the title suggests; ‘Primo’ really is unbeatable! Luigi uses synth stabs that add character and finesse to this outstanding piece of music. ‘I Believe’ uses dubby drums and an infectious vocal to really tear things apart before dropping into a melodic synth section that will make anyone move. Tantra’s melodic groove synths help this early morning track really come into its own before the main melodic section, accompanied by strings, will take any clubber to their own dimension. Hypnotizek rounds off the EP being more upfront about where it’s going. This cheeky, groove based track will warm up a dance floor quickly and get people in the mood for a real party!

Reset Robot returns to Truesoul all guns firing with his new EP, ‘Rain’. 'Rain' incorporates Reset Robot’s signature sound and delivers 4 outstanding tracks that form an incredible EP. Throughout the EP there is a sense of tension that is created through the eerie pads and synths combining to create different rhythms to keep the listener on their toes. Using percussive sounds, Reset Robot has built rolling tech house with layers of funk that will keep floors moving through to the early morning hours.
