Szafran (pronounced Sha-fran) is a Polish Berlin resident, currently based in Croatia, who in recent times has made his mark upon the deeper sides of techno, house and electronic music. He's known for playing live in the twilight zones of Worldwide clubland and festivals and now for the kind of longer extended dj sets usually reserved for djs with bigger riders than their record collections. Known to discerning lovers of vinyl with a slew of releases (under his full name Oskar Szafraniec) on labels such as Rawax, Deset and Cyclo, the 27 year old producer feels like now is the ideal time for a change of name, a slight change of direction musically and a new outlook in these weird global times.

Collaborations and releases with artists such as Pier Bucci and Ricardo Villalobos have brought attention to this charming musician, producer and dj. People are sometimes surprised when they learn how, when only 18, he toured Japan with A Guy Called Gerald, shaping his musical identity and exposing him to literally a whole world of music, sights and smells.

As an expanding library of music in all good record stores builds up, it shows us an artist whose infuences range from Miles Davis, Arthur Russel, Terry Riley, Philip Glass and John Coltrane. Szafran selects layers of atmosphere, rattling riffs and unusual drums draped in subtle textures. He does it in ways perhaps not always associated with the housey techno scene he pervades now, yet always drawn from these influences he adores.

Danish-born, London-based, DJ/producer Baby Danish turned humble small-town beginnings in to a successful DJ career in the House and Techno scene of Copenhagen.

Resident DJ, Club Promoter, Talent Booker and a career in Fashion wasn’t enough to keep Klynk home, the world was calling. Under his alias “Bladtkramer”, a relentless work ethic and dedication to his craft saw him elevate to residencies across the globe including America, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and more. He has performed for some of dance music's biggest brands such as Mixmag, Toolroom, Ultra Music Festival, Ministry of Sound and support some of the biggest names in the industry, a list so numerous, we’d rather not weary you with namedropping, but instead focus on what Klynk is all about – performing. He’s technical ability onstage is rated amongst highest level of DJ’ing, as he layers tracks, acapellas and samples from a musical library of incredible depth and variety. His “4 faders up” mixing wizardry and ability to build the right set for the occasion, sets him apart.

Crossing through a variety of "light rave" subgenres of house and techno, this mix keeps intrigue high while taking listeners on a beautiful arch landing in the golden puddle of California Dreamin'. Visions Of Paradise (Deep House)

Event curators Spin Sum have launched a new podcast series focused on our history, future and inner workings.

The mini-series will include three episodes, each with a key figure representing fabric, hosted by Willer Spin Sum’s own Creative Director. Spin Sum made their fabric debut on 24th June 2022 alongside Jonas Rathsman, MAGA and Re.You, putting on a curated Room 3 takeover.

Episode 1 of the mini-series features a conversation with co-founder Cameron Leslie who discusses the origins and history of the club. Episode 2’s guest is Creative Director Jorge Nieto, who deep-dives into potential future plans, and how fabric itself is becoming much more than just a venue. Finally Episode 3 features a discussion with our own resident DJ Anna Wall, offering a glimpse into the world of EC1 from the eyes of an in-house DJ.

In each episode, guests choose a handful of records that have inspired them, discussing their impact on their sound or their experience in the electronic music industry. The 3-part series will become available listen to now via Spotify with a live date to be confirmed.
