Back with a bang for 2025, FABRICLIVE re-enters the fabric Records fold, which also incorporates Houndstooth and fabric Originals. 

** FABRICLIVE announce first ever original artist release **

25 years-deep at the forefront of soundsystem culture, via their legendary Friday night dances and DJ mix series, the iconic FABRICLIVE welcomes a new chapter, with their inaugural artist release, by @SullyE64. A perfect representation of the label’s renewed vision, and a key landmark in the continuum, ‘Model Collapse’ sonically mirrors both FABRICLIVE’s rich history and new vision, reaffirming their position as an essential platform for cutting-edge bass music.

The EP comes as a bespoke vinyl edition, featuring a striking picture disc and hand-etched design, pressed on heavyweight wax, mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis and manufactured by The Vinyl Factory, everything is UK made. The artwork comes courtesy of John Karborn, a London-based artist, on whom Sully comments, “we have a few projects under our belt now and I've always enjoyed the process. He's a dynamo of ideas and I'm never quite sure where they'll lead, which is 99% of the fun with this stuff. Conversely, FABRICLIVE is a new partnership for me but it's clear we are on the same page in terms of trying something a bit different and being a bit ambitious with the presentation."

Happy Valentine's eve! You guys (well, most of you) seemed to enjoy my "Sticky" remix with splitter, so I thought it'd be fun to put a spin on another one of my favorite pop tunes from 2024. Truly a goated year for music! The melodics of "Espresso" always already felt very Skybreak coded to me, and the tempo felt like a great excuse to make glitch hop. I honestly don't believe I've made any glitch hop songs since 2019, so it was really fun to reapproach this genre with all of the new skills and inspirations I've gathered in the past 5 or so years!

I've been finishing up the music and visuals for a larger project that means a LOT to me - it's been a lot of moving parts but I'm very excited about how it's coming out. Thank you all so much for being patient with me. But in the meantime, this is my Valentine's gift to you. Sit back, grab a cup of your caffeinated beverage of choice and enjoy this free remix of Espresso!

Sully has been totally locked in as of late with a steady stream of 12”s landing over the past year, and now with a mix for Bleep he’s showing off what’s up next. Amidst a handful of unreleased and forthcoming cuts from Sully and friends are cymbal hits barking in between gnashing, brawling breakbeats, fearsome bass wobbles, and engine revving purrs. Soulful, melismatic synthpop enters on Kid Lib’s ‘Jungle Days And Nights’, fractured into Tim Reaper’s jungle euphoria, leading to D*Minds & Bladerunner dropping heavy depth charges, Arcane stretching vocal clips in a drilling breakbeat collage, and Objekt’s murky tension on ‘Bad Apples’ with a molten jagged bassline, industrial whirring, and the pitch dial gone wild.
