Description: The challenge is almost over! Today's prompt was a victory jingle. I decided to go back to my roots and do a metal / rock jingle in the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive tradition. One day remains.

It's been a couple weeks since I've uploaded something new (I was in a bit of a creative rut). Inspired by this week's challenge theme "Rivers," I decided on a short but emotional journey. I pictured a group of survivors making their way to a river in order to have the current carry them away from the place that they were in. I want to come back to this one to work on it some more, but I hope you enjoy it for what it is! Feedback is always appreciated. :)

We wanted to capture the celebratory atmosphere of Dia de Muertos, without resorting to the stereotypical mariachi sound. Before long, we settled on doing a sort of "danse macabre" with conlang lyrics -- and the only conlang I know is Hymmnos, the conlang of the Ar tonelico games. I hope you all enjoy this dance -- grab a friend and partake!

- This is not based on any actual anime music style. I made it up. It's a modern tribute to the sound of Japanese cartoons I enjoyed as a kid. I hope it doesn't offend any true anime fans. 

- I wrote some guitar leads and couldn't play them cleanly enough to replace the MIDI. So, the MIDI stayed. 

- I added a bit at the end to simulate ending credits.
