With over 10,000 records to his name, DJ Nobu is deeply immersed in a wealth of sounds ranging from uncomplicated club anthems to those more experimental in nature. His Future Terror parties, hypnotising sets and lean catalogue have largely cultivated a reputation for menacing techno, though lucky for his fans he’s just as adept when it comes to upbeat house. For this, his second Bassiani Podcast outing, the latter takes the stage with the Japanese polymath delivering a three hour set of light and playful beats recorded live at Horoom in early April. Mixing everything from cheesy disco to tropical synths, this is a breath of fresh air from the sought-after cult figure from Chiba.

@partok steps up to the IA MIX Series drifting lucidly amidst moods that could suit any number of different parties or floors. The prismatic and funky vibe draws on the spirit of acid house with toms, drums, frequent psychedelic vocal trips and a mix so full of gems that these secretive tracks can never, ever be disclosed. There are scents of breakbeat, whiffs of rave, and puffs of magic that help show Partok in one of his upbeat, vivacious and evocative moments.

This set was recorded in the National Park of Circeo on the 24.8.22 a few meters away from the Tyrrhenian Sea. There were 60 people audience lying on the sand, a few candles and a 4+1 Turbosound system.
I played my own productions including a few unreleased tunes.
Thanks to "Le Passeggiate Poetiche" and Exotique.it for making this possible.

As the seasons are slowly changing, I thought I'd get on the decks for an improv techno mix to keep the energy high this Autumn. 

Most people know I love my house music but not many know about my love for techno (and my passion for a proper stomp!)  So, this mix was a one take combo of records and digital tracks. 
My main inspiration being from DJ Bone. I absolutely love the energy he brings to the dance floor with phenomenal mixing and track selection. His attention to detail with the splashes of house lyrics with a high-end techno flavor are just breath taking. My favourite ever memory of raving was when I lost my pals but ended up losing my sh*t to his set in room 1 Freerotation!

More inspiration from labels such as Rekids, Mind Medizin, Hardgroove. Expect artists such as Floorplan, Mark Broom, Uncertain & Ackermann.

Das ist Techno Sex (Autumn techno mix)

@XDB, the founder of the Metrolux music label, is one of Germany’s most respected DJs. Kosta Athanassiadis is a long-standing institution as a Dj and Producer with a significant collection of timeless productions and memorable remixes. 

XDB has his roots in the central German town of Göttingen. It was there that he began DJing in the early nineties, where he worked in a record shop and where he ran a radio show for five years. And that was the base from which he established the Metrolux record label back in 2006.

For many people, it was at this point that XDB appeared on their radar. His debut ‘Jackintosh EP’ and the following ‘Descap EP’ made a splash. Kosta’s DJ sets draw upon his expansive record collection, playing right across the board of electronic music. His DJing keeps him in the public eye, but one gets the sense that XDB prefers to operate in the shadows.

@revoltathens was brought to life in 2013 with the purpose to satisfy people’s craving for immersive experiences with electronic music and other forms of art.

In 2014, the crew started a record label and six years later, took a big step forward and opened a hybrid-record shop with new and second-hand records. This space is meant to be used in the most creative yet practical way, to showcase artists and their talent, organize live shows and small exhibitions.

Liou is renowned for his captivating style and profound connection to music, with a deep appreciation for the underground sounds of the 90s. His ability to unearth forgotten gems from various electronic genres sets him apart, injecting unexpected twists and turns into his sets.

With a natural inclination towards music production, Liou has released original tracks on numerous labels worldwide, including Finest Hour, Affix, and Southern Magic, solidifying his presence in the global music scene. As a resident DJ at Revolt, he has graced the decks of renowned venues in Athens, Berlin, Zurich and Amsterdam.
