I made a promise to start sharing my live radio shows on Soundcloud in 2025. This show,  'Natural Progression Saturday Session' was recorded live on March 1st, 2025. This 3 hour journey features of some of my favourite tunes from both the past and present, including a selection of atmospheric, melodic and progressive soundscapes. I absolutely loved mixing this show. The music represents some of my favourite styles of electronica which I truly hope you'll enjoy as much as I do. As usual, I did not pre-plan or program this mix beforehand, because I feel this brings the right feeling, both when I broadcast my show and when I mix live. Brian Cid is a Brooklyn-based DJ & producer with a level of musical talent that has taken the underground electronic music scene by storm. With a style that has no boundaries whatsoever, his productions touch upon deep house, techno, progressive house and more, and have been signed to a number of the most credible tastemaker record labels. This catalogue of innovative, genre-defying tracks has given Brian the opportunity to grace the decks at some of the best clubs, parties, & events across the globe, and has led to a DJ Mag nomination for 2017 Best Breakthrough DJ in their Best of North America awards. He is easily one of North America's most credible producers.

The next chapter in the musical journey of Brian Cid is the recent launch of his project Endangered: a deep journey to the eclectic side of electronic music. The Endangered concept is both a record label for Brian to showcase his own music as well as other high-caliber artists he respects, but also an event series that combines music with live performance & art. Also watch out for his upcoming album which will be released on Balance Music, a deep and dark journey through the more cerebral parts of techno.

Balance Selections 066: Brian Cid

Michael and Daniel from Munich invented Innellea in 2014 to accommodate their new sound. Both coming from other projects, they wanted to combine their talents and create something new. Influenced by melodic trends in the electronic music, they found their way to combine it with the roots of Techno in a very creative way and came up with their own abstract sound.

Rewarded by Groove Magazine’s readers as one of the best newcomers in 2017, they fulfilled listener’s expectations. Earlier this year they hit the nail on the head with their Fusion Set, showing the audience the re-invented sound of Innellea. Following requests for their DJ and live sets worldwide, Innellea released on several labels which were further spread by several DJs around the globe. Daniel’s and Michael’s ambition to provide perfectly mixed tracks and merger club sounds and intelligent music catapulted them into the focus of the top league - and they are still only at the beginning of their journey.

The German duo is set to head to Australia for their debut tour which will include a set at the highly anticipated Chi Wow Wah Town festival just outside of Melbourne. With their pending visit Down Under, you can bet on it that the duo will spread their gospel to a whole new audience.

Balance Selections 078: Innellea

Italian/Lebanese based in the Netherlands DJ, producer, songwriter, label owner and event promoter Fady Ferraye has not had a normal upbringing for an artist. As a youngster growing up under the bombs of the Lebanese civil war, with access to his uncle’s vast record collection, he learned to shuttle his gigs from one shelter to another while staying in the mix. An unconventional start to a career that has heard him share his sound in more than 20 countries he visited around the world. 

Based in Amsterdam since 2006, his tracks have been released on important Progressive House labels around the globe: Manual, Particles (Proton), Audio Therapy (Dave Seaman's label), Frisky, Baroque, and Per-Vurt, to name a few. His works are regularly played by world celebrity DJs including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and John Digweed. Cid-Inc, Facundo Mohrr, Dimitri Andreas, Chris Fortier, Pole Folder, Paul Sawyer, Silinder, Eelke Kleijn and Kiko are among the artists that have remixed Fady’s tracks. 
Fady’s axis was formed by his two residencies: At legendary party scene Club NL in Amsterdam (since 2005), and at top-50 ranked legendary club BO18 in Beirut (1999-2013), Fady is considered as one of the first pioneers of Electronic Dance Music in Lebanon and the Middle East. From there he shuttled across Europe, and Asia, unobtrusive, shunning the hoopla, peddling his hypnotic mix. Countries he played in: Germany, The Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium, France, Serbia, Greece, Romania, Armenia, Turkey, India, U.A.E., Qatar, Bahrein, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and of course Lebanon. 

In 2011 he was chosen by the renowned Dutch mag JFK as man of the month, and later that same year he appeared as a special guest on Bridget Maasland's famous show on Dutch TV RTL4 "Hoe Houd Ik Het Spannend". 

Fady appeared on many big festivals, Sensation in Belgrade, A day At The Park and Vrij Festival in Amsterdam, Prana Petra Festival in Jordan, Tomorrowland in Lebanon, and Festival Of Colors to name a few. 

Hurly Burly is Fady’s current signature evening at Club NL since 2008 developed with his buddy DJ, television personality and music lover Johnny de Mol, it is an unpredictable wild and moving musical evening at which any of their DJ friends come in and share the booth, like Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, Nhar, Eelke Kleijn, Oliver Schories, Nick Warren and many others. Beautiful people outside line up early just to be a part of the Hurly Burly.
Which, by the way, is also the name of Fady's monthly radio show (since 2005) on New York based internet radio station Frisky Radio.
