Fallen Giants DJ Set - Rainbow Serpent Festival 2016 - Chill Floor JUL22

Atonom: Journeys through electronic music somewhere between Down- & Mid-Tempo, Slowtech, Schneckno, Dip- & Melodic-House or how I like to call it: Dampfloki-Bounce. Rolling bass and playful noises, sometimes spiked with some Pop-Edits. From cheesy to deep to trippy to bouncy. Often somewhere around 108-112bpm with excursions within the 90-128bpm range. Perfect for early mornings or closings, but always flexible and adjusted to the event, playtime and mood of the crowd. 

Atonom (Hartz IV): Bass-, Progressive & G-House. But pitched down. All the way to around 102-105bpm. In other words: Hartz IV Techno. Slow but frikin' bouncy. And still with shitloads of power to dance to. An example that slow bpm can be played at peak times. Or a suprisingly good choice to bring the afterhour back to life... Kickass raw & dirty shit.

Oh, and happy to play long sets as well - from all night journeys through diverse moods and bpm to taking over when the official part is over and curating the afterhour till the bitter end. And tbh these are always my favourite moments - so if you need someone to but behind the decks so that there is music for the whole day including b2bs and other spontanious shenanigans  - I'm your man ;)

I am happy to play whatever occasion, from clubs to living rooms, sound-bikes, improvised guerilla setups, or even sailingboats. On Pioneer or Traktor or even just from the cellphone. So there they were, somewhere between nature and civilisation
Searching for the inner truth, the discovery of the actual reality
The life besides systematic thoughts and theories, beyond the horizon of every day life
The brain addicts started to open their minds for extrasensory perceptions 
And they realized why they are and the reason of all being
Still knowing that this knowledge is insignificant for life whatsoever  
So they lied on the ground, watching the stars travelling in circles
Thrown into a journey of thoughts and audio-visual expansions
Experiencing everything as it is, infinite and without ethnic morals or values
And there was this sweet melancholia lying in the air
And everything had questions but no answers and exactly that is the answer
And no one could control the way of their thinking but them and them alone
They lived the nicest damn present they’ve ever seen
And they knew what to learn and what to take with them on their way through life
And between these most intense emotions they ever had, they felt as if they actually were free…

A warm & pushing set in typical Atonom diversity, containing some new discoveries and many of my all time favourites. As always with the ususal unusual mixing and unexpected track-combination balanced on the thin red line between womb and grave and curated with loads of love & passion.

I think this is the Atonom Groove I enjoy playing the most at the moment.
My set at lush.play (& Börning Beiz) on 10.2.24 was a variation of this playlist f.e.

Soetimes weird, sometimes bouncy, sometimes trippy, sometimes fresh, sometimes suprising, sometimes classy, sometimes high, sometimes grounding, sometimes playful, sometimes serious, sometime this, and sometimes that, and sometimes something else... Welcome inside my head...

Always with a powerfull bass to keep us grooving while we fight the battle inside our meat-overall with some nasty kicks and stylish pirouetts. Somewhere between our heart, brain and soul lies the truth. Maybe. But it's surely worth to have a look.

"The Battle Within" takes you on a 3h long dancing-journey, visiting many different moods & feelings while turning every part of your body & mind upside down.

A colourful washing mashine, spinning with 108bpm, proving that slow and melodic doesn't always need to be layed-back.
