A dark, abstract poem with elements of Dalism and Boscheanism.

"An unfamiliar land of shifting scenes.
Shadows expose the nightmares inside my dreams.
What once was my reflection, a silhouette.
I think I used to know me, but I forget.

A flock of birds that circle above my head
surrender rationale to my growing dread.

A power ballad about death and decay. Interpreting inevitable changes, loss and departure into John's skillful lyrics, the vocal melody conveys a deep sadness. I composed and played the song on piano and guitar both. It's hard to believe that a random collaboration paired John and me together. Later, Dirk joined as a vocalist and added plenty of drama. Thank you so much, it's always fun to collaborate with you!
