With the labels music being played on BBC radio, New Zealand's top alternative national radio station Base FM and The Objectors performing at the  One Love Reggae festival.
Having also worked alongside up and coming Jamaican based reggae artist Marvin Thorpe and our bands Tin Foil Hats & The Bruncles also make regular appearances at the annual Sweeps festivals and music venues.

In a world of commercialisation and pre-packaged music we feel its important we create an outlet and fly the flag for independent music.

Jon Gomm is an independent, non-corporate musician. He sings songs, writes songs, and plays guitar, and spends a lot of his time travelling around playing gigs. He's basically just trying to be an individual in a world that wants everything to sound the same. He's not famous, but don't worry he doesn't want to be, and you've heard of him and that means a lot.

Musical and computery person (I can compose/record but also recover the files when it crashes).

My fretting hand is full of raw rock guitar riffs whilst my mousing hand clicks out quirky jingles.

Was surrounded by recording and musical equipment in the womb, picked up a guitar in 1983 - am now a jumble of the following:

*Music teacher based around guitars......acoustic, electric, bass.
*Work with song writers to write / record / gig - Abbo, Matt Carpanini, Paul Roberts (of Stranglers past), Amy Tinsley, Matt Culpepper (Creative Music Services).
*Gig guitar / bass and backing vocals in pubs / clubs / functions in various styles from mellow acoustic to chunky funk to widdly rock.
*Computer brain whispers to digital audio workstations.
*Author of Xtreme Guitar tuition book/CD series.

Sometimes I find the time to add to this random collection of tunes.......of course if someone pays me I drop everything and I'm straight on it.

Take on some tunes and help me to sleep at night (well, from 3am to midday-ish). Likings and Repositings etc. spur me on no end. Thanks.

Ben Jones  is an English Singer, Songwriter, Musician and Producer living in Austin, TX and is part of Beat Root Revival with Andrea Magee. He is a multi-instrumentalist and a prolific songwriter.
