Bristol-based producer Sean McCabe released his first tracks in 2003 and has since fine-tuned a trademark sound that is effortlessly soulful.

McCabe made his name in house, developing a long-running relationship with legendary US garage label King Street Sounds and remixing the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Evelyn Champagne King, Carolyn Harding, Blaze, and Roland Clark. Since then he’s amassed an impressive discography, delivering inspired productions for labels like Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, Vega Records, Tribe, and Quantize – plus an original solo album for Z Records.

A quick listen to any of his productions or one of his superb DJ sets will confirm this attractive, emotion-rich aesthetic. While rooted in house, his sound regularly takes on flavours of disco, boogie, Afro, deeper grooves, proto-house, ‘90s garage-house dubs and much more besides.

As an artist, his 2014 debut album entitled ‘It’s Time’ on Z Records displays his musical range and versatile quality production skills. The album hit Number 1 on Traxsource in its first week and has received support from the likes of Solar Radio, Mi-Soul, Kiss FM, and Jazz FM.

As a DJ, he forged a reputation at the legendary Southport Weekender, where he performed regularly. Anyone who can impress the notoriously knowledgeable Southport Weekender crowd must be doing something right. Sean has also travelled the world, playing as far afield as Asia and South Africa, as well as regular appearances across Europe and the UK. Refreshingly, he seems to have no particular aspirations to play in gargantuan clubs, and admits to preferring gigs in small, intimate venues, where he can make a connection with the crowd.

As a producer, McCabe is constantly learning and evolving, taking his sound in different directions. He admits to a love of vintage synthesizers – picked up from listening to classic New York boogie and ‘80s soul. In 2016, Sean continued his musical journey by launching ‘Good Vibrations Music’ record label – a natural evolution of his renowned Good Vibrations events in Bristol.

With a successful album under his belt, his own record label and notable collaborations with the likes of Karizma, Turbojazz, and DJ Spen, his reputation for bringing quality soulful dance music to the masses continues to rise.

DJ Sakamoto met hiphop and started DJing since 1997. 
He was in Taiwan for a year at that moment and had many acts like “Tommy Boy x Avex CD Release Party” as a member of production named DOOBIEST.
After he went back to Japan, he stared to play in Tokyo with his partner DJ ABU as “fantastic”.
In 2004, he relocated in and organized some jazzy concepted party at La Fabrique Shanghai as resident.
 Also collaborated with local free magazine, Supported “VIP Club Shanghai” which was held by a well-known Japanese production Cyber Japan, launch party for brand new product of Kirin as well and it was picked up on World Business Satellite.
He went backed to Japan again in 2005 and played at some of popular place in Tokyo like IDEE Café, Hotal Claska as well as Tokyo Midtown.
Also his Mix CD “Cool Like Dat”, “Good Vibrations” were played at mamy clothing store and café in Tokyo and still having great response.
Now he’s in Hong Kong since 2008 and stared to work with humzap entertainment and playing jazz, soulful house and some more melodic crossover sounds .

Ambitious & tirelessly active alongside his partner in crime Tom Laroye they are signed to Glitterbox Recordings as Qwestlife. His party led productions have been released on Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Ubiquity and with Joey Negro’s Z Records as Yam Who? & Jaegerossa ‘Grateful’ featuring Jacqui George, not forgetting one of biggest Traxsource Top 100 tunes of 2018, Dubplate Disco’s  ‘Pick Up’ (Yam Who edit). The Rebirth, is a Los Angeles based septet built on an organic blend of new and traditional Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Funk. In this day of solo artistry, what distinguishes The Rebirth from most is their returned emphasis on the soul band, where each member is recognized for their participation, and each influences the direction of the overall sound.

In this unified effort, The Rebirth’s strength is not only present in the chemistry provided by the instruments but also in the group’s dynamic harmonic vocal layering. Groups such as Earth Wind & Fire, Ramp, Pleasure, Rotary Connection, Side Effect and Roy Ayers have served as models to the re-introduction of this forgotten sound. The Rebirth pays special attention to everything that makes a song find it’s own greatness. Melody, rhythm, lyrics, instrumentation, arrangement, performance and production are equally important and emphasized. Like an amazing human performance, greatness does not mean perfection it simply means in this case, that through the sweat and the challenge, The Rebirth is prepared to fully represent the return of the quintessential soul band.
