i've been holding onto this song (and have also been holding off re-recording the vocals) 

because i wanted it to sound different
because i wanted to record it with my band 
because i wanted it to be perfect when it came out. 

and i ended up wanting so many things that 
i forgot why i wanted to make this song in the first place.

so here i am now; wanting you to hear this song in all its one-take-at-3-am-vocal-rawness

because hey, it's a demo. a work-in-progress. and i'm ok with that :-) 

so i hope that the listeners that have been following here on soundcloud since 2012ish would also wanna hear my voice & lyrics in some original music
