A while ago 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝘀 layed down 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 & 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 and sent a message out into the universe. 

A message for Help & Hope.

The Answer appeared in a 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 

The 𝗔𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀 came and offered 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝘀 to join his path. Together they composed their seventh extended play.

With a blend of hard rhythms and dangerous sound designs, gathering both his love for Science-Fiction and organic textures, this new EP reflects more than anything his attraction towards ultramodern mental music, well reflecting the ongoing european enthusiasm for fast paced techno, buzzing soundscapes, ethereal harshnes, citing A Strange Wedding, Raär, Solma, Trois-Quarts Taxi System or Sole Massif as his source of influence. Calling this wave as "psytech", it conjures on the dancefloor a bestial spirit made for dance, self-abandon, communion with the others.

Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Cressida' gem on 'Shaw Cuts'.

It all began with “Have Sword, Will Travel“, an EP that started the „armed“ journey with its many different ups and downs. 
But the label is still here and celebrates its 10th anniversary today. 
Besides being pretty emotional about the fact that this journey is still continuing after so many years, I’m also looking back at an intense period of time full of doubts, disappointments and mistakes. 
Especially social media leads us to believe that every life is so exciting, spectacular and unique and that you are doing something wrong compared to all of this glamorous self-promotion. 
If you really start comparing to these blissful images, things feel miserable very fast. 
But instead, the healthiest things are to just be yourself, to follow your vision no matter how slow and complicated things evolve and to avoid doing things that feel wrong and factitious. 
And because of that, everything is right where it should be for Shaw Cuts and it’s still so much fun and exciting to run this project. 
I’m trying my best to keep things going and to keep things fresh & exciting - hopefully for another decade.
Thank you all for the genuine appreciation and support of all the music that got released over the past 10 years, for having an open mind for all the different projects and for helping the label to grow and develop a certain brand recognition and identity. 
Without you none of that would have been possible.

The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound — the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself..
