Original Version of Chhota Kadam.

This version of Chota Kadam is literally the only music I have produced in Ableton so far (I will use it more in ‘24). I wrote the original concept in Gadget on the iPad and it was nice but a bit dirty sounding and I couldn’t clean it up, so I remade it pretty much from scratch in Ableton then sent it to Belial for the collab, which he released here: https://soundcloud.com/belial-pelegrim/chhota-kadam-pelegrim-mix 
I am sure you will agree, Belial’s version is amazing! It was a real pleasure and his music always inspires me. Belial really is a prolific and extraordinarily talented musician and producer.

Then I thought I would release this original mix afterwards…glad I did 😀 Thanks for the feedback

Here we present this fabulous new song by the great singer songwriter Richard Gonfrier called "Smile To My Lies".
In this track, his wife Delphine also intervenes for the first time with a sensational voice creating a fantastic duo.
At MTM we have been lucky to have done the mixing and mastering of this incredible new composition by this great artist.

Played on a Tom Doerr (RIP) Legacy- LS Redwood/Cocobolo. 
This little tune gradually grew on me over some time period ahead of the final recording including little changes on the evening it was recorded. Sometimes that's the way things work!!
 Played in CGCGCD tuning capo #1. 
The melody seemed to convey to me a hopeful, thoughtful day ahead where good things might happen! 
The picture is of my son in law looking out over the harbor on a fabulous summer evening sunset!

David D has been doing some legacy production for a close friend. David envisioned this head-to-toe tattooed woman as a feature in a traveling circus or carnival, but in her private life and dreams wanting to be a younger normal person, not an object of scorn or bewilderment. 

He asked me if I had any ideas about incorporating some of Clara's lovely voice. And since the song is a very fun idea and deviates from the norms through this crushing mix of genres, of course I wanted to do what I could.

Elemental Vol. 6 continues the journey begun in Vol. 1, returning to the meeting point of nature and circuitry where country becomes techno and techno becomes country. The project carries forward the Elemental idea — that music, like weather or landscape, isn’t a metaphor but a living force that moves through us.

The sound remains tactile and porous: guitars still breathe, synths still shimmer, but the pulse runs deeper now, steadier, like groundwater finding its course beneath open fields. The arrangements move between organic drift and machine precision — footstep and kick drum, heartbeat and bassline — tracing a quiet dialogue between wilderness and pattern. It’s not fusion so much as coexistence: a music that sounds both handmade and algorithmic, campfire and circuitry, soil and signal.
