Next up we have a mix from one of LA's brightest DJ community members, Max Ellington (@berrmax). Max is an LA-based DJ with roots in Ann Arbor, MI. Through his VPN Radio show, Surrealchemistry, he has embarked on a mission to explore the power of deep and psychadelic dance music. He's also a resident DJ at the New Palm event series. Some words from Max about the mix: 

"I used this mix as an assignment to break out of a lower tempo zone I've been vibing on lately and grab some faster + most importantly weirder records from the shelf. I tried to find a balance between speed and intensity--moves to higher tempos eventually accompanied by pillowy synths and dubby basslines.. the feeling of accelerating towards a soft landing!"
