"sorin george rastoaca, aka vid, has been involved with music for quite a while now… some of his earliest releases under a different alias harken back to 2010. in 2012, the launch of his own label, aptly named andromeda, cemented the foundation of a project dedicated to sharing the ornate sounds stemming from the world that vid walks within.

as a producer, vid heavily draws inspiration from nature. the world around him projects an abundance of sound… from the melodic chirping of birds to the effervescent bubbling of rivers, or, the gentle rustling of the wind as it passes through the nearby woods. in these delicate moments, vid finds the right ingredients to coalesce resulting in otherworldly grooves and soundscapes that transport the mind. genre is of no consequence as these pieces of music blur and blend between the minimalistic shades of house and techno (and all things in between). this is music that speaks from the heart as much as it soothes the mind.

as a dj, that same production imaginativeness manifests in the style of sets vid enjoys bringing about. his ear has a penchant for finding the records that have unique off-kilter sounds that easily find a home within his sonic nature walk. the end result? a curated journey that’s meant to challenge expectations, elicit surprise and above all else… spark joy.

Gogan’s journey into electronic music follows a familiar yet deeply personal path—starting with club nights, listening to sets, and eventually experimenting with mixing at home. What began as casual sessions for his girlfriend soon evolved into club gigs, marking the start of a career shaped by curiosity and dedication.His early influences came from Wrocław’s underground vinyl scene, particularly Chris In, who introduced him to the inner workings of the industry. As he grew, encounters with artists like Subb-an, Burnski, and Silat Beksi pushed him beyond DJing into production and label management. While Wrocław didn’t provide direct musical inspiration, his creative outlook has always been outward-facing, drawing influence from international scenes.Today, Gogan juggles multiple roles as a producer, DJ, label owner, and even a construction company manager—all while maintaining an unrelenting passion for music. Whether crafting tracks in his home studio, curating releases for his label Kooky Music, or setting the vibe with warm-up sets for artists like Priku, his approach remains deeply rooted in authenticity and exploration.In this interview, Gogan reflects on his creative process, the realities of Poland’s electronic music scene, and what it takes to stay prolific in a fast-evolving industry. Kicking off 2025 for the 14th mix in our MINIMALISM series we introduce Tur vinyl boss, Poly. She has kindly provided us with 2.5 hours from her set at Signal Festival in Russia last year.

Poly has been on our radar for a while now which we feel is an artist that deeply represents our sound. Based in Saint-Petersburg, Poly is a resident for Moscow based Haze and Mizar, playing regularly at the clubs there. She has shared line ups with artists such as Cezar, Dubtil, Cally and Andrei Ciubuc.

Known for her dark and hypnotic selections, which rolls so smoothly throughout. We’ll let the music do the talking on this one 😊

Biography:
Born and raised in Amsterdam, Lauhaus has been active in the Dutch and international dance scene for over a decade. With his style ranging from (deep) house to techno Lauhaus has filled many dancefloors all over the world. Together with Kabale und Liebe, Lauhaus is running record labels Soweso (vinyl) and We Dig. Music (digital) to provide a platform for both upcoming and established artists. Next to this Lauhaus has a resideny at studio 80, where they regularly host Soweso labelnights. Besides Studio 80, he is a regular at Watergate, Sankeys and Heidi’s infamous Jackathon parties.

Lauhaus hasn’t slowed down when it comes to his own productions. Besides his releases on Soweso and We Dig, he released on labels like Rejected, Remote Area, Cocoon, ViVa Music, Circus Company, Get Physical and Fasten Musique, just to name a few. He is also known for his side project Polder together with David Labeij. As Polder they released an album on Shinedoe’s label Intacto. And Lauhaus is part of Amsterdam 661, consisting of Kabale und Liebe, Boris Werner, David Labeij, Julien Chaptal and Quazar.
