As the next guest on the Fast Forward Audio Series, we are presenting you with: Sabinē

 Sabinē is the leading figure of the new electronic music generation in Uzbekistan, as well as the co-founder of Sublimation Collective launched an audacious label, which seeks to push boundaries, produce collaborative tracks & give a voice to emerging artists. Today, she is a Riga based DJ, Label manager, producer and promoter, who served as a resident DJ at the One One club (Rīga).    

Sabinē was born in Uzbekistan, in industrial town Chirchik, and shares her love for a variety of evocative techno sounds ranging from industrial and acid thumping with the spirit of resistance. Her dirty kicks, fat rhythmics, raw percussions and pretty melodies are always the finest experience of electronic music.  

She performed at Stihia (former Aral Sea, UZ) and  Under (Riga, LV) festivals, as well as presented her set at Boiler Room, the renowned Berlin HÖR, legendary club Tresor, as well as different venues around Eurasia alongside Nina Kraviz, Dr. Rubinstein, Dasha Rush, Hector Oaks, Perc, Regal, Tommy Four Seven.

Fast Forward Productions was formed in December 2015 as a new take on DIY rave culture. All events are built from the ground up, focusing on our local scene and collaborating with like-minded crews and concepts from abroad.
With a focus on social engagement, and by using activists from the local community to help make the events come to life, Fast Forward actively focuses on creating safer spaces at the venues we use. Sexism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia are not tolerated.

Sabinē is a leading force in Uzbekistan’s electronic music scene, known for her bold sound, uncompromising vision, and dedication to pushing creative boundaries. As a DJ, producer, label manager, and promoter, she co-founded Sublimation Collective, which amplifies emerging artists and fosters collaboration. Based in Riga, she was also a resident DJ at the renowned One One club.

Born in Chirchik, an industrial town in Uzbekistan, she channels the raw energy of her roots into hypnotic, groove-driven sets that blend techno, trance, experimental, and broken rhythms. Each performance is an exploration—where industrial grit meets hypnotic melodies, pulsating energy collides with deep atmospheric layers, and groove keeps the dancefloor in constant motion.

A pivotal figure in the development of Uzbekistan’s electronic scene, she spearheaded Sublimation Fest, a groundbreaking festival that reshaped the country’s musical landscape. Beyond club culture, her productions have extended into the worlds of contemporary art and cinema—her compositions were featured at the Latvian National Museum of Art for Fyodor Golan’s Harmonious Collision exhibition and in the documentary Mission Latvia.

Her presence resonates across renowned venues, underground institutions, and major festivals worldwide. From Boiler Room (Top 10 sets of 2023), Tresor Berlin, HÖR Berlin, and Audra Festival to stages across Central Asia and beyond, her performances span a wide spectrum of electronic music spaces.

She has shared the stage with Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien, Hector Oaks, KiNK, FJAAK, Regal, and many more, cementing her name among electronic music’s forward-thinkers.

With an unrelenting drive and a vision that defies boundaries, Sabinē is not just playing music—she’s shaping the future of it.
