Western Canadian Music Award Winner, Def3, is known for his versatility, skill and performance. With over 10 million streams accrued across all platforms, His musical style combines hip hop and electronic music flawlessly giving listeners the best of both worlds. He spent a portion of his youth living on a hospital ship as the child of relief workers giving him a unique perspective of the world.
 
Def3 has performed globally at large-scale festivals & historic venues over the past 15 years, including the 2010 Olympics, Shambhala Music Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Hip Hop Kemp, SXSW, Envision Festival, Lightning In A Bottle, Sask Jazz Fest & many more. He's shared the stage with some of music’s biggest names such as The Roots, Big Boi, Post Malone, Hilltop Hoods, Nas, Wu Tang Clan, Flatbush Zombies, House Of Pain to name a few.
 
He has released 5 solo albums and collaborated on countless features over the course of his career. His newest album “Weddings & Funerals”, a collaboration with Electro Soul producer, Late Night Radio, was released Jun 4, 2021 and reached #1 on the Apple Music Itunes Canada hip hop charts the week of its release and #7 overall for all genres. His consistent music and video releases have made him a mainstay in both the hip hop and electronic scenes in Canada & the US.

Willdabeast is a brass-fueled electronic duo that merges live horns with heavy bass, jazz, funk, and experimental sound design. Known for their high-energy performances and genre-bending productions, Willdabeast has carved out a distinct lane in the electronic music landscape, pairing festival-ready drops with the improvisational spirit of live instrumentation.

The project has released music across an eclectic range of labels, performed on national stages, and collaborated with a wide spectrum of artists across the electronic and hip-hop spectrum. Their sound bridges the gap between brass bands, future bass, and dubstep, creating anthems that feel both cinematic and explosive.

In 2025, Willdabeast was featured on Apple TV’s series The Studio with Seth Rogen.
