The Catalan prince of darkness Adrian Marth and his label Italo Moderni are one of the underground figures in the European scene mixing the darkest corners of the new avant-garde Italo/Acid/Electro. Adrian has been DJing & performing Live sets internationally in the last 5 years, at spots like Panorama Bar Berghain, HÖR radio, Nitsa, Le Sucre, Soundit, Funk, Laut, Human-Razz, Ombra Festival, Nowadays NYC, SAT Montreal. He also makes a live set where he does vocals and plays the Octatrack. The label work in Italo Moderni includes vinyl releases from The Hacker, Legowelt, Djedjotronic, Timothy J. Phantasy’s long-running mix series continues apace with a contribution from a key figure in London’s electronic and alternative underground, Casper Clark. Perhaps best known under his former Volte-Face alias, this wide-ranging hour finds Clark reigniting his fundamentally eclectic sensibility, seamlessly blending records from Black Merlin, Idjut Boys and The Parallax Corporation, spanning twenty-five years of music at the authentic margins.

“I started DJing nearly 20 years ago, at least partially inspired by the way Erol used to play at Trash and later Bugged Out and beyond. I was lucky enough to book him over the years at our Adventures In The Beetroot Field parties as well as Field Day and even the Lock Tavern, which I used to programme back then. As I drifted more towards exploring techno under my Volte-Face moniker, our paths diverged somewhat, and a few years went by when I didn't bump into him or see him play all that often. So this mix feels like a homecoming of sorts, and an expression of a rekindled musical freedom and a cherished friendship. I even managed to squeeze in a track by Tiga, who was another formative influence for me. I hope it's as fun to listen to the mix as it was to make it.” - Casper Clark

Generationals - Put a Light On

Thunder Tracks is the moniker of 25 year-old Oklahoma native Jake Scott, who names the likes of Devendra Banhart, Neil Young and Vashti Bunyan as inspirations. Recurring themes throughout his bedroom-recorded songs include: “Ghosts, light, a glow, colour, wildlife, and personification...” 

Here is the story behind Graffitti in Jake's own words:

"Graffiti is a song about me haunting my girl, except that it's not creepy and sad but beautiful and weird. It's about how things wouldn't change much if were a ghost. I would still mess with her, go on adventures, and get into a little trouble. In the second half I sing her side of the story. She knows I'm still around, getting into shenanigans, and in the end we let each other know that we are still with each other."
