I am very excited to finally unleash my Fractal Forest Mix from the incredible Shambhala Music Festival this summer! Playing on the Fractal Forest was truly an incredible experience, something I only ever dreamed of, so to be booked to play there this year was an absolute honour. I tried my very best to put together the best set I possibly could, featuring a large helping of exclusive tracks, a few classics from my back catalogue and some of my favourite tried and tested bangers! I’d also like to thank my awesome talented friends for providing a lot of the tracks on this mix - namely @wbbl who has been killing it lately, super happy to see him also making out to Canada this month!

Thank you so much for your support everyone, playing in the Fractal Forest was literally my biggest dream come true, and there’s no way I could've done it without you guys. Etienne aka Danny a toujours associé la musique à la joie. Un jour, Danny rencontra la Psytrance et fit l'expérience du festival Hadra en 2014. Jamais une expérience musical n'avait apporté autant de joie à Danny.

Depuis lors il se mit à écouter et à chercher ce qui lui plaît le plus.  L’objectif de digger des sons est de faire découvrir les perles ainsi trouvées à ses ami.e.s, promouvoir ainsi des producteurices de musique pour d’autant plus favoriser leur travail, leur présence sur scène, et donc, la joie de Danny.

L’objectif du DJ set est foncièrement le même, sauf qu’en plus du dig, Danny essaie de jouer des contrastes, des dynamiques et des mélodies pour maintenir l’attention sur un temps plus long, et ainsi, favoriser encore plus efficacement la promotion de la musique qu’aime Danny.

Au fil du temps, il s’est avéré que Danny aime le plus souvent quand ça fait boom boom entre 130 et 145 battements par minute (parfois au dessus, rarement en dessous). Danny n’a pas de réelle préférence entre la lumière ou l’obscurité dans la musique. Finalement, ce qui est le plus important c’est de se perdre, de vriller, de planer, de fuir notre réalité si difficile. Au cours du voyage on rencontre, on danse, on est surpris, on réfléchit, on est curieux, on trouve ça beau, ça rend joyeux.

J’espère donc à travers ces DJ set kiffer égoïstement, et kiffer égoïstement de voir que cela vous fait kiffer (et vice et versa).
