Snow Sketch

written for the maj7 community event, Reverse Review Revue! everyone wrote hypothetical "reviews" for songs that did not yet exist, and then those reviews got shuffled around and assigned to participants to reverse engineer and craft a song that would fit the review. 

my prompt was:

"I didn't think this type of thing was feasible, but the song manages to perfectly encapsulate an almost pretentious silliness, and the Gregorian chanting paradoxically only makes it sound sillier. Regrettably, the bass undercuts these elements and moves too frenetically for the listener to ever feel truly grounded at any point."

this house is a bit big for you. it gets lonely at times, but you appreciate the moments when you're not thinking about that. looking down at the town, seated by your window with a cup of tea, things don't seem so bad at the moment.
