VA & Remixes

Parisian label [re]sources returns with the third edition of its "Club Hexagon" series dedicated to showcase the current French club / bass scene. Gathering several in-house artists such as Dehousy and Blâme, the compilation features some established French producers like Flore, rRoxymore and Ténèbre but also some newcomers, confirming [re]sources' key role in the development of the club music landscape in France.

Parisian imprint [re]sources celebrates its 9 years existence with a new VARIOUS EP produced by the collective members Blâme, Lia Catreux and LeTo, alongside 3 other exciting French producers RAVL, Nasty J and Qant. The 6 club bangers take inspiration from different Club & Bass genres like UK Garage, Breaks, Jungle and Footwork.

"A strong sweep of continuous repetition gives character to trippy, ear-tingling high end that you'd normally find in genres like trip-hop. The original 'Hot' vocal sneaks in with great timing and suspension, chopped up to make it feel like an original Blâme production. The tune's roots may remind us of an old-school Bassnectar vibe. The tune's beat patterns may cause disorientation thanks to its extensive panning, followed by an out-of-body experience that will be remembered. Blame's is an excellent remix to end this Tessellate x FKOF collaboration. Here's hoping it's not the last!"

We first started working with @corporalf's @tessellate-records back when the imprint's first EP dropped - it was the first ever release we FKOF promo'd. 

We're following our collaborative efforts up with 'TESS003', the latest release from the crew. This one's a four track EP, two original tunes from @itsaliceuk and two remixes - one from Corporal F and one from @blame_sound. Enjoy!
