Fatrin’s most recent project was the score for NETFLIX’s new short film “HOME” released February 2021 with director Ellie Foumbi. He scored for the Narrative Gold in both BAFTA LA & the Student Academy Awards 2016. He was also awarded "Best Score in a Feature" at the Southampton Film Festival (UK) for "Anatomy of the Tide" in 2015. He is currently is in post-production for his latest feature score “Winter Fireflies’ with European director Artur Gorishti. Fatrin is also a recurring judge at the Brooklyn Film Festival and the International Film Festival of NY since 2017.

In 2019, Fatrin arranged & conducted the music of his first string quartet with the National Opera & Ballet Orchestra of Albania. A year later, he finalized his second string quartet as well as a a new contemporary chamber ensemble work: Zoltavia. Fatrin’s first soundtrack album “Zois” was released in 2017. He also released an EP album “Empire” : A trilogy work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary artist Kara Rooney that premiered in NYC at the Totah and Fridman gallery, 2018/2019.

In addition to composition, Fatrin has also established himself as a concert pianist. He has performed on numerous international concert stages including Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall, NYC.

Fatrin was raised in a celebrated family of musicians. His father, with whom he originally studied composition and orchestration, is a renowned composer and songwriter. His mother is a former violist with the Albanian National Orchestra. After the fall of communism in 1992, Fatrin moved to New York, and was subsequently accepted to La Guardia High School for Music and Performing Arts. There, he studied viola and pursued his education in piano. His talent rapidly flourished and led him to study piano performance at the Manhattan School of Music conservatory.

Guillaume’s work has received broad critical acclaim and is particularly noted for its seamless blend of melancholia and high sensibility.
He studied jazz piano with M. Redon, with B. Leflanchec (former Berklee Music School) and jazz harmony at ARPEJ school Paris with P. Baudouin. Then he studied Mathematics and Musicology at the University of Lille.
After studying Sound Engineering (degree with honors) and working for Cinema and TV, at 25, he founded ProMac (Audio Consulting company) and gets 3 certifications : Apple Consultant Expert and AVID Field Service Engineer (Install & Fix the D-Control & Venue Console / ProTools).
He has been studying at The Juilliard School in NYC for 5 years: Classical Composition, Advanced Orchestration, Conducting, Music Theory & Analysis, Harmony, Ear Training, Sight Reading and Scoring to Picture with Daniel Ott, S. Zyman, M. Shapiro, R. Lustig, M. Ippolito, Dr Knowles, Kendall Briggs, J. Dawe, C. Cummings, J. Vaclavik, E. Fein, Liza Stepanova.
At 40, he founded ProMac Audio for Music Production and Sound Design.  ProMac Audio creates original music and sound design for advertising, TV, film and interactive media.
