Astrophysical Maser is an electronic music composer and visual artist. James began his musical education early in life, his passion quickly became focused on electronic dance music starting in 2005. Since first using a DAW in 2009, he has used it as his primary method of creative expression.

Writing much of his music with keyboard and mouse, he also performs live with the aid of various midi-controllers, which have become an important asset to his process. His more recent work has been described as “the most exciting new sound to come out of Australia in a long time” by scene veteran Phil Smart.

James’ ventures in electronic music stray wider than what is common. He has a practice in Ambient, where he tries to simulate environments in the near vicinity of extreme astrophysical objects – quasars, black holes etc. For Techno and House he explores blending environmental audio into stimulating and powerful music that challenges the dance music world.

Zomboy came crashing head first into 2016 with the game changing single ‘Like A B*tch'. Taken from his hotly anticipated Neon Grave EP, the track became the go-to set opener for the likes of Skrillex, DJ Snake and almost every bass DJ at Ultra 2016.  

While the EP Crushed the charts, the 'Neon Grave' tour saw Zomboy sell out venues all over North America and has set the tone for an incredible 2016 for the producer.
 
Never one for slowing down, he's since remixed the Chainsmokers' huge crossover hit ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, and has embarked on his annual festival run, destroying crowds one by one with his inimitable energy and stage presence

If you just so happen to be the other side of the World, as part of Australia’s beautiful trappings and no less it’s ever prominent and growing rave culture and that said, you also just happen to be at self same aforementioned exploration of hedonistic craziness, chances are the guy rumbling a pounding hardcore bass line through those speakers you’re stood near could well be the outcome of the technical skills of DJ & Producer krysRAW. krysRAW aka Krystian Reyes has been creatively contributing professionally to Australia’s happy hardcore movement for the best part of half a decade, bringing with him a style and ambience all his own and without doubt a lover of it and all it’s greatness since long before that very decade began.

Taking on his first main stage appearance at Melbourne’s legendary HardKandy club back in 2001, playing the harder underground styles krys’ outgoing, upfront and fun loving attitude towards the scene he loves so much is applied to a stage presence that invites all who are privy to his outstanding production, seemingly effortless tight and well honed mixing ability, creative track selection and a focussed approach to entertaining every dance floor; making sure each party is left positively detonated and surged with the kind of exhilaration that can only come from being entertained on a euphoric level by those that bear witness to some of his brilliant work.

Quickly gathering inspiration from internationally revered artists from the UK such as scene pioneers like Brisk, Joey Riot, Darren Styles, Sy & Unknown, Kevin Energy, Technikore and Mark Breeze as well those in his native Australia like S3RL and Impact, krysRAW quickly took his cue to providing his own selection on the decks and effects of roof raising hardcore anthems that led onto regular gigs with such brands as NRG, Two Tribes, Rebirth, G.O.D, Autosalon, Beatseekers, Pharmacy, Harder Faster, Elevate The Bass and 3D, for which he is rotational resident.

Following that, it didn’t take long for Melbourne to be given a fully amplified introduction to the happy hardcore inspired sound of krysRAW, further leading to opportunities to work closely with friends, associates and fellow scene contributors amongst the hardcore movement in the USA, with guest slots at Uprise In LA and Like A Shooting Star in Colorado added to his rap sheet and a continuing, productive relationship with his USA counterparts in both the fields of DJ and Producer.

Speaking of which, krys also works tirelessly in his studio and has accumulated a number of tracks, remixes and bootlegs that have given rise to the cover of (whether officially or unofficially) the work of Paramore, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtardo, IIO, David Guetta, Ne-Yo and even remixing and recreating the classic Alan Silvestri theme from the movie Back To The Future - showing his flexibility and ease to adapt to fun and exciting new hardcore projects allowing him to mould traditional pop classics into outstandingly loud main room hardcore slammers.

He has also completed a number of his own original works, which feature greatly in his current live sets such as the throbbing freeform greatness of ‘XperiMental Bass’, the Piano led hardcore ‘Forgotten Memory’, the driving, upfront, balls out and in your face ‘Fancy A Rave’, the early hours party inspired ‘Raw X’ and the electronically synth laden ‘Day Break’.

and whether they be smashed out at home in Melbourne, the bright lights of LA, the green festival fields of the UK or further abroad, tracks and mixes alike; they only serve to increase his ever growing repertoire. 

It comes as no surprise too with such a fully charged enthusiasm for hardcore as DJ & Producer that krys is also a Promoter. Being founder of the frenetically popular Hardcore Division parties at 3D in Melbourne, where he also hosts as resident, has proved a stable showcase for followers of his unique sound to get a regular fix of his work - only adding to his mission to develop and help evolve the popularity of the hardcore sound in his city, a mission he appears to be accomplishing successfully as each party goes from strength to block busting strength.

Added to that his work being supplied on rotation to recognised outlet Beat Drop Music in the United States, it’s only a matter of time before krys’ positive and infectiously enthusiastic attitude towards great music, insanely energetic performances and his mantra of being a raver first, DJ second, coupled with his dance floor damaging productions soon spreads to rave cultures Worldwide.

Presently in discussions to continue his work not only in hardcore but also lending his production talents to other genres include that of trance and house, with his more recent works receiving radio mixes for national air play - krys also has all new material ready to smash through into the peak time arena forums of happy hardcore and freeform, furthering his global engagements at clubs, festivals and events. Meaning that moving forward, the future looks set to be one only elevated by the inclusion of the dedicated focus of the one like krysRAW.

Wick-it the Instigator is a multi-genre DJ and producer known as a breath of fresh air in an otherwise over-crowded EDM scene. He merges the likes of mashups, hip-hop and electronic to bring together a unique sound that you are bound to enjoy. In the last few years Wick-it has had the opportunity to play festivals like Summer Camp, Wakarusa, Camp Bisco, Imagine, Backwoods, Shambala and more. His SoundCloud page alone has garnered over 70K+ followers and over 30M+ plays. Impressive numbers like these helped land him on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. This isn’t just a testament to his top-notch production skills, but also his keen ability to build and harness a highly interactive online fan base.

In 2012, Microsoft recognized that direct audience connection and chose Wick-it to produce a song for their Windows 8/Angry Birds: Star Wars commercial that they blasted to millions of prime-time viewers. Even before that in 2010, Big Boi of Outkast picked up his mashup project ‘The Brothers Of Chico Dusty’ which helped projectile his popularity. To add even more fuel to the fire, in 2015 Sia picked Wick-it’s remix to be her official remix for ‘Elastic Heart’. Since then he has done official remixes for the likes of Kesha, ZZ Ward, KC & The Sunshine Band and Figure.

With successful headline tours supplemented by huge sets playing with Skrillex, Pretty Lights, GRiZ, Herobust and others, it’s obvious his talent and success extend far beyond the studio.
