— As a multidisciplinary artist, DJ and producer,  Gargoyle Girlfriend brings a unique perspective to her musical productions and live performances. By fusing visual art, poetry, and experimental vocal techniques with her genre-blending electronic sound, she strives to transport listeners to  realms that evoke a sense of wonder and transcendence. Drawing inspiration from Hong Kong's pulsing energy and diverse musical influences, Gargoyle GF has cultivated a sound that is both globally-minded and deeply personal. Through this interdisciplinary approach, Gargoyle Girlfriend aims to create immersive experiences that transport listeners to alternate states of consciousness - spaces where the boundaries between the physical and the metaphysical blur, in an ethereal crusade to weave the dance between the light and the dark.

Stylistically fusing minimal, funk, house, techno, afro, trance, italo disco, organica, electro, breakbeat, DnB, jungle,  EBM, IBM—and occasionally adding elements of live singing, poetry and looping into the set, she is currently interested in exploring  “breakthroughs on the dance floor” by creating spaces abundant with play, flow, risk, love and intensity. 

An avid supporter of the underground rave scenes & unkept by genre, you can find her appointed in with Omni Agency, Y2K, UMAMI, BUNKER, 0159, REZONATE, SMOOO agency, Tempo Contato, Dark Metaz, Slimefest Archive and many others- in afterhours nightclubs like Oma, Casa Dao, Social Room, Soho House, Mihn, -and many outdoor festivals, warehouses, and parties around Hong Kong- and has become a recognised name among across bass, techno, disco and punk scenes alike, opening for international acts like 'Flowdan' [UK] ‘DJ EZ’ [UK] Homeshake’ [US] ‘SuperGloss’ [BERLIN] ‘RedPigFlower’ [ITALY] and ‘Zoë Mc Pherson’ [BERLIN] in 2024.

Having studied fine arts, painting, and video game design growing up in the USA– and ultimately then discovering a late obsession for music production– she moved to Shanghai in 2018 and collaborated in midwest-emo band [Fliphouse], doing vocals for its second studio album and touring with them across China in 2020. In 2021, she then formed the band [Snuff Disco] , where they went on to develop a club-friendly live act of dark synth infused melodic tech-based post punk, producing groovy soundscapes and narratives through deep swells, 808s and vocal odysseys. 

Daylighting as an international school Arts Teacher, and moonlighting as a stage-performer and later a DJ, Gargoyle Girlfriend founded KAOS: Art In The Underground Collective; a non-profit charity focused music/arts exhibition/workshops/ event, featuring local Bands, DJs, Tattooist and vendors monthly and funding art programs for children in poor communities across Asia, as well as raising money for families in Palestine.

 Performing also as a solo songwriter and a DJ, she has played shows across Shanghai, [ALL Club, DADA, Elevator, System, CELIA] Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Beijing, and Hong Kong, where she currently resides.

Hi we're three guys from Jerusalem who met in high school and wanted to make music and after multiple bands and projects and a shit-ton of stylistic revisions we settled on ska/noise punk even though we've only made two ska songs and we're not very noise-ish we're just kinda loud.
