Our second session features Anya a musician/artist/DJ from the Bay Area. She is life long music obsessive and a singer-songwriter who has composed and performed in various sound mediums. Anya is part of DJ collective Loveshadow, who have regular parties in the bay and broadcast monthly on KGPC Oakland.

So honored to present in the second hour at The Space Between Spaces a new mix by  this month's guest,  @livwutang. Liv takes us on a trip through her more cosmic, trippy tracks she has collected. My set in the first hour was mixed live on air from the Lot kiosk  studio. I faced some technical issues with the mixer and cue buttons on the cdjs so apologies for late phrasing and sudden mix changes. I hope you enjoy :)

William is a Bay Area DJ who has worked with As You Like It since 2010. He maintained a residency ExYo at Wish in San Francisco and at Zughaus Gallery in Berkeley. His inviting take on dance music explores deeper, melodic sounds with an appreciation for unpredictable rhythms and plenty of bass. He has played for many favorite local crews beyond AYLI, including In·sight, Direct to Earth, Housepitality, The Boombox Affair, Rare Form, Forward, Werd, Qoöl, Bubble, SET, and Sound Department. Some of William's highlights include warming up for Ripperton, Max Cooper, John Tejada, Marcus Worgull, Maayan Nidam & Konrad Black, Henry Saiz, Matthew Dekay & Silicone Soul, Sishi Rösch, and Tiger & Woods. William's exposure to world-class dance music started while studying abroad in London and attending events at Fabric nearly every weekend. Getting lost in that all-encompassing environment put the sounds into context. Kontrol parties, Sunset Sundays, and unlicensed undergrounds are key influences. William's respect for the local scene pushes him to discover new music and share the sounds he loves.
