After a month of silence, the Avenue Red Podcast engine is cranked back up into life with a high-octane mixture of electro and breaks, delivered in a blitzkrieg assault from a Moscow-born and Berlin-based DJ, events organiser and all-round top guy known as zodya.

This mix is fully "injected with the poison!", drenched in 90's rave-era nostalgia as zodya intelligently connects the dots between a lot of disparate areas of this exciting breaks-driven kind of sound. When she's not working behind the counter at Phonica, Lucie divides her time between producing, DJing and performing as Avsluta, free improvisation and creating conceptual sound work. She runs Introspective Electronics, which is a monthly show on Netil Radio and a series of podcasts and chill-out gatherings at The Lion & Lamb in East London. 

Lucie’s second half of 2020 is packed with some exciting releases. First up, she has an electro-acoustic mini-album coming out with David Toop on Cafe OTO’s digital label Takuroku, followed by a collaborative experimental double LP with Christian Duka as Vãdin on Utter, and lastly, a tripped-out, progressive and trancey 12” shared with Miro SundayMusiq for E2-E8 Records.

Oakland-based Tape Ghost, aka David Grunzweig, is an architect of emotional spaces. As both an ambient and techno producer, Tape Ghost’s identity is grounded in a complementary duality. Inspired by Detroit masters like Carl Craig, Robert Good, and Plastikman, Tape Ghost was born as a minimal-leaning techno project in 2015 with a focus on live performance. Adept at curating both live sets and DJ sets, his presence has been felt in the Bay-Area, where he’s thrown parties through the collective Asterisk and supported artists like Call Super, Dr. Rubinstein, Dax J, Mike Gervais, dBridge, and m50.
