I’m a producer, singer-songwriter, but always a fan of music first. Influences are a wide variety. I make these reimaginings of original songs as a way to give some of my favorite songs (songs that have made me feel deeply or dance joyfully) a second life of sorts (and sometimes a third and fourth (yes, sometimes I make covers of covers)

Growing up in Nigeria in the era of Styl Plus, P-Square, Timaya while listening to Avril Lavigne, The Script, Daughtry, Owl City…then discovering Bollywood and falling in love with the soundtracks of K3G, KKHH etc. Then going back and forth from leaning into EDM to leaning towards Afro pop in my production and RnB and Folk in my songwriting and melody work. It’s…a mix of things. And there’s more music I’m discovering that I’m weaving back into my craft. 

I’m working on an EP about the state of the world, what we’ve lost…what we could remember from the past, to shout/dance into the void that is the future.

I produce music on Logic Pro X. I record in whatever bedroom I can find, and I mix and master my stuff right now. It’s…a lot of work but it takes years to master any craft and I’m becoming more and more okay with that.
