Introducing singer-songwriter Amy Powell. Originally hailing from the UK’s infamous music capital Manchester, she has now made Melbourne her home.



Singing with clarity and conviction. Amy’s songwriting tells a story which takes listeners on hopeful and sometimes darker journeys to explore the curiosities of her mind. Amy’s deeply rooted love for music is communicated using influences of soul, folk, blues and rock. The use of a warmly toned fender complements her soulful and sensitive vocal, using rhythms that are chasing the expressive nature of her vocals, encapsulating her sound. 



Captivating audiences with her solo performance, Amy now explores new territory in the form of a 4-piece band, which includes co-producer Matt Van Rullen. The band are now working hard in putting together a powerful live set in the lead up to the release of Amy Powell’s forthcoming debut single.
