I met Alice aka https://soundcloud.com/janloup at Chantelouve, a micro-festival in the Alps and one of my favourite annual French gatherings. As the cards predicted, we had an immediate Empress crush and our b2b was floating magic.

Jan Loup is currently on tour in a van with Maquis Son Sistèm (and their soundsystem) playing squats, DIT parties and other underground venues. In Berlin, they visited Cashmere Radio and I interviewed Jan Loup before a b2b on my monthly show Fictions.

recently, I was reading the “glory to the microbes manifesto” the first part of the mix reflects this microscopic world, zigzagging into dubby and circular sounds and penetrating the comfortable home of the microbes, which were rejected for years.
so then, it transforms into a revenge of the microbes, that becomes more raw and brutal!

Fata Morgana Festival 2022 was one of my favorites because the crowd was super receptive, the venue was a majestic old abbaye, and I was playing at peak time and our B2B with @keinblume in Amsterdam for @decadanceamsterdam was purely a magic moment of connection and let go
I also have a super cute memory from my first gig in a club for Electromenager night at la Station! I was re opening the miniclub room after such a long time closed because of covid, a moment that will stay engraved in my heart

Adriana Beach joins us with an hour of celestial harmonics and down-tempo selections.  Currently based out of Eora, Adriana Beach is a Visual Artist, Curator, Artistic Producer, Creative Director of local ARI Nano Gallery, Dancer, and of course, DJ. Her sound ranges from hard and heavy bass music to hip-hop and breaks, as well as an extensive ambient yet experimental collection.

Adriana Beach also played at Woodburnia festival last weekend in Gumbangirr country in the hinterland of Northern NSW.
