Ventura, CA’s Shelby Figueroa is a dynamic musical talent.  With a powerful, crystal-clear voice reminiscent of songbirds like Joni Mitchell and Joanna Newsom, she stirs the emotions of her listeners as she effortlessly moves from a velvety whisper to a fierce roar.  A gifted pianist and storyteller, Shelby’s songs blend dark pop with a classic beauty. All of the performances on her debut EP Highwire were recorded live, under the watchful eye of producer Shane Alexander at his newly unveiled Buddhaland Studios.   Recent performances include a featured set at Hollywood’s premier listening room, The Hotel Café and a triumphant rendition of the national anthem at the LA Galaxy season-opener.
