‘FTK’ came to life in early 2018 after Curtis Taylor and Ciaran Egan drafted 3 new members; Andy Fletcher (Bass), Thomas May (Guitar), and Dan Houghton (Drums), into their previously named project, ‘Feed The Kid’. 
Writing & recording throughout the spring and summer at MMB studios in Manchester’s NQ, the newly formed group of individuals set out to express their shared concern of the distinct lack of morals in today’s modern society, and voice those opinions under the ‘FTK’ banner. 
The tracks lyrical content highlights this lack of morality by describing “right wing behaviour” – the people in perceived decision-making seats as “not having a clue” and the overwhelming feeling that ‘there is something we can do’, because we are all ‘sick & tired of the modern day blues’. 
“Musical comparisons can be made to; ‘Black Keys, ‘Radiohead’, and ‘Gorillaz’, due to the vocal similarities, blues vibes, and hip hop flavours… making it a must hear for 2019.”
