“Going down into the valley, everything fell into place. How the audio bounced around the trees, and the visitors almost blended into the nature around them. Playing this set in the morning, just as the sun was rising above the nearby mountains, and the inhabitants of the valley was waking up, was an absolute treat.”

Co-founder of @itsdelayed and @never-late, Hue is a dedicated artist and selector wisely merging experimental, ambient, deep techno sounds. Here some of his words about this mix: "The original idea started as part of an extended set that I play every year at our Delayed Barn getaways. There’s always a joy in having the opportunity to play long hours with no pressure to ‘get’ somewhere in a time frame. For this mix, I recorded it at home in my apartment with a few friends on a Friday night. I tried to capture that moment where things shift into gear as the energy starts to rise and excitement builds for what is to come".

Sai has been a music nerd since her youth, influenced by styles like postpunk, dark wave, ska, jungle, DnB, and techno. Two trips to Jamaica in the late '90s deepened her passion for dancehall and sound system culture, with the heavy basslines of dub and raggamuffin having a lasting impact on her.

After the pandemic she established the podcast series “Moments Of Light And Darkness” and just began to release mixes by guest djs. In May 2024 we met her at the Superbooth Berlin and listened together to some live dub music. Finally she contributes a dj-mix to our podcast series.

GUSTO - NIGHTSNEAK (DETROIT)
Augustus Williams, aka DJ Gusto, may not have had the most ideal childhood, but his story is a positive one with a promising future. Gusto has memories of his father listening to Marvin Gaye and old Motown records, but the music that spoke to him first was Hip Hop. By Junior High Gusto was spending much of his time listening to the radio, and taping shows of WJLB, this is where he first learned of artists like DJ Godfather, and DJ Assault. When he attended his first party in 1996 he did not yet know what Techno was, but validates that this was the event that would evidently shape the rest of his life. From that point on Gusto’s interest in music grew into a passion, and that passion drove him to become a part of the music. He began DJing, focusing on electronic music evolving from his first love of Hip Hop, Electro, and Drum N’ Bass. At the age of 19 Gusto learned about “The Belleville Three” and found him self completely drawn to Techno. He started to play frequently at house parties, and at one of these parties he met a fellow DJ, Jesse James, and the two of them soon became close friends. This meeting and newly established friendship would provide Gusto with an opportunity to shine in his future, Jesse James and cousin James Woods would later become responsible for the “Nightsneak” parties, and Gusto soon became a local favorite."

Jenny Arredondo is a true Techno enthusiast. A music and dance-floor lover. A crazy healthy raver that would dance for hours and hours to proper Techno beats and bass. She is known as the "Dancing Queen" in the underground NYC Techno scene and around the world. Her passion for music has no limits; she has music in her blood.
 Jenny's music exploration journey began in 2012, and she plays and produces Deep Techno, Ambient and Electronica under the names "Headliner" and "La Guru". Her album "Techno Inquisition" was released on November 16th 2013 and her second album “Ubiquitous” was released on December 28th 2014. Her release "Dark Invader" was included in the compilation REGENERATION by the Spanish label Doppt Zykkler//Series on June 15th, 2015. Her track Headliner - Planck Epoch was included in the (DE19) Deep Diversity Vol. 3 - Deep Electronics Compilation released on November 5th, 2015. Her first EP "Rose Red Wounds" was released on July 16th 2021 also on the dutch label Deep Electronics. Her latest release "A New Hope" was a contribution to the Mastoid Kollektive - PINK in support of breast cancer and was featured along other tracks by amazing techno and house legends.
 She organized underground techno events in New York for almost a decade and also hosted events in Detroit, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Playa del Carmen. In 2015, Headliner also became part of Female Pressure, an international network of female artists in electronic music and digital arts founded by Electric Indigo. You will often find her listening and discovering new tracks and artists, also at Techno events having the time of her life.
