I didn't mean to start the Seasidetrip Podcast as a series. All I had in the beginning was the desire to express my feelings and thoughts that rush through me at the beach, the seaside or listening to crushing waves and to do that through my music. I meant to make these thoughts and feelings a more intense experience, make them deeper and warmer. Well, that's how it started and now, 10 months later, I'm publishing the 12th podcast. a BIG BIG and EMOTIONAL WARM "THANK YOU!" so far to ...

But now I want to come to my podcast, the "Sunset" and what I am thinking and feeling right now and what will have changed again tomorrow. That alone makes me love every single sunset, as one is never like the next. - A sunset stands for the end of one day and the beginning of the evening and the night. For some a sunset is romantic kitsch, others love the actually inexplicable atmosphere created by it. For couples it is a intimate moment, standing at the beach, the sun descending at the horizon, holding each other in their arms. For others sunset is the begin of a party that only comes to an end the next morning. Sunset is sunrise at the same time. It is an end as well as a beginning.

I have experienced a number of sunsets at the seaside, the beach. Sometimes I was alone, just wanting to enjoy the mood for myself, cherishing my thoughts, dreams and sometimes even my fears. But I have also been blessed to enjoy and experience the romantic sunset at the beach, with a loved one and a glass of red wine. Just as well as I have lit camp fires with good friends and we shared the feeling of the time standing still in that one moment. It is these moments and the many more that are burning themselves into my memory. They are in my thoughts, they create pictures that I ponder on, sometimes
longingly, sometimes with lots of happiness.

Yes I yearn for the sea so often, that I keep searching for opportunities to go there. But unfortunately that is not always possible for a variety of reasons. That's where the music comes into play. It enables me to make just these thoughts and pictures audible, without having to say anything. The choice of songs, the way they follow each other and the atmosphere they create, that is what beams me to the seaside for the duration of the set. I am feeling and I am sensing, I am escaping the moment and I am letting you listen to my sunset.
