Witness Protection Program (WPP) is a space for artists to bathe in anonymity, allowing them to release music that they wouldn’t be able to otherwise. It’s a Work in Perpetual Progress.

Launched in July 2021, WPP has since released 17 singles and a couple of EPs featuring re-edits.

The main artistic entities on WPP are Davin Varda and Troels Yuri. While they maintain their own anonymity, they collaborate with various known artists such as Olugbenga Adeleken (Metronomy), Fritz Helder (Azari & III), Middle Sky Boom, Buscadora and Talis Klein.

Yuri and Varda share a passion for electronic music that bends the rules and surprises the ears, drawing from a wide range of musical influences: from techno to ambient, jazz to new wave, dub to disco. Their tracks are a sonic roller coaster, taking listeners from the depths of despair to the heights of ecstasy, blending experience with a sense of childish playfulness, and balancing spontaneity with deliberation.

Davin Varda leans towards a more optimistic and lighter sound, while Troels Yuri prefers a darker, more sombre tone.
