His dynamic sets have made him a familiar face across Europe; from About:Blank in Berlin to Pikes in Ibiza, from Kiosk Radio in Brussels all the way to Karmakoma in Belgrad. Each performance reflects his distinctive taste and effortless ability to connect diverse scenes​ and dance-floors.

In the studio, his stylistic signature lies in blending Italo-House, Balearic, Acid-Trance, and ethereal Ambient digressions, leading him to release EPs, albums, and remixes on renowned  labels such as International Feel, Bosconi, Internasjonal, Hell Yeah! and many others.

He boasts numerous collaborations in cinema, most notably composing the soundtrack for I Santi by Silver Bear–winning director Giacomo Abbruzzese; a film acclaimed at prestigious festivals including Côté Court, Palm Springs International ShortFest, and CineMed.

He is also the co-founder of the mysterious @afro-templum party, a four-headed beast with multiple identities: from irregular club nights to a small record label, from an annual gathering on the shores of  Trasimeno Lake to a collective of DJs and selectors.

Italo Deviance (real name Marcello Giordani) began his artistic journey in the
1990s in Italy, during the height of the House Music phenomenon. He was an
avid attendee of record fairs, always on the hunt for USA-style Disco vinyl,
amassing an extensive collection. He also performed at some of Italy’s best
parties, such as Cocoricò, Echoes, Matis, Kinki and more.

In the early 2000s, he developed a passion for and began collecting Italo
Disco vinyl, often for just a few cents. In 2008, he founded a blog called Italo
Deviance with the mission of promoting the most obscure tracks and
versions of early 1980s Italian dance music.

From 2011 to 2023, he became part of the duo Marvin & Guy, which has
since evolved into Circle Point Circle. At the start of 2024, Marcello resumed
work on his label, Italo Deviance Music, embarking on a rebranding effort.
This new phase explores underground electronic music without sticking to a
specific genre, discovering and producing talented artists in both digital and
vinyl formats. He places no particular emphasis on their social media hype,
focusing solely on the music.

This philosophy gave rise to the motto:
“Italo Deviance, where only the music matters.”
