After releasing their critically acclaimed debut single ‘Stillstand’ on Local Suicide’s label Iptamenos Discos the Austrian duo Wiener Planquadrat are returning with their new ‘Dschungel’ EP which includes remixes by legendary electro-punk producer T.Raumschmiere, London-based infamous artist Birds and the uprising disco producer Tech Support.

The title track ‘Im Dschungel’ is a feel-good disco-pop / indie dance tune that speaks about the urban jungle of Vienna. The exuberant combination of arpeggio distortions, sizzling synths keys and jolly vocals transport listeners right in the middle of bubbly and chaotic Viennese jungle. 

The B-side ‘AIV’ (short for Alles ist Viel) is a dark disco hymn composed of polyphonic plucked synths, classic 80s beat, and distorted arp brassy sounds, while the vocals evoke the wilderness of a tangled and jumbled mind.

T.Raumschmiere, an artist of multiple facets ranging from punk techno to experimental ambient, maneuvers ‘Im Dschungel’ with abstract and minimalist tones. A steady remix with kick and bass at the forefront wrapped up with bright looping keys. 

Birds twists ‘Im Dschungel’ with an acid bassline, dark metallic strings, and adds mystical vocals showcasing her talent to merge multiple atmospheres into one track and always thrive for edginess and originality. 

‘AIV’ is revisited by London-based Tech Support, who gives it an all-around bouncy and elegant groove, harmoniously matched with spacey effects, bright bells, and screechy synths.

Wiener Planquadrat is formed by Maximilian Atteneder from Catastrophe & Cure and Michael Weiler, a former member of Luv Shack's Burning Tears. Their work is a union of their two musical background: a mixture of indie, dark disco, and a decent portion of French electro, reminiscing the times they first met. In 2021, they released their critically acclaimed debut single “Stillstand”, which went up onto the top 10 tracks of Austria’s most important youth radio station FM4, was highlighted as track of the day by Byte FM, received glowing reviews on the blogosphere and was described as the “perfect feel-good-disco-track” by German leading electronic print magazine FAZE, while receiving support by DJs such as Joris Voorn, John Digweed, Phunkadelica, Sean Johnston & Damon Jee among others.

The ‘Dschungel’ EP is an electrifying collection of tracks showcasing each artists' distinctive style and colourful palette of musical artistry. It will be released on a strictly limited clear Dubplate 12” and made available digitally on all platforms on April 22nd, 2022.

Partyfine returns with its next package of shimmering gems hot on the heels of the ‘Clean Drive Edits EP’. Carefully curated by main man Yuksek, the Reims based party label delivers a multi-track compilation of all original beats and beauties from a wide array of talent! Normally known for its ‘more or less disco’ brief, Partyfine takes a 
deeper, darker, and more exotic approach on this sixth chapter in their comp series.
On Partyfine Volume VI, there are artists who have been there right from the start like Get a Room! , who delivers a deliciously dark disco anthem that features CAR. Label head Yuksek drops two original afro-infused disco bangers on the comp, while Claap! gets ecstatic with a cut designed for those quiet but enigmatic early hours. Rubin Steiner turns the rhythm and the bass down deep and slow, while Polocorp 
(Polo & Pan) trucks on with the tripped-out exotica he is known for. Partyfine also welcomes some new artists to the fold like Patchworks (Voilaaa’s producer and member) with a track this is nothing but a pure house babe, and not unlike the vibe we are left with on Destino’s cut. Frank Agrario’s touch is low-fi and percussive, Plaisir de Frances offers up a hienergy club belter with vocoder in full effect, while Birdee’s delivery is probably the peak of the comp with its up-tempo shiny disco drop. Other new acts include Alex Blex, and the elusive African artist Francis de Francois. There’s a further new project 
called Ubaruh by Phillipi of Fatnotronic, with Villa closing out this collection on an uplifting vitamin jab of a vibe.

Peter Kruder and Rodney Hunter have been buddies for decades, growing up on the same block, it would only be a matter of time until the 2 boys would connect and start their legacy.
The story took shape, when Peter (15) and Rodney (13) decided to meet up on a daily basis at Peter's house to jam and to record their musical ideas on a stereo tape deck, combining all of their influences like, James Brown, Gary Numan or even Bauhaus in to a special Kruder/Hunter style, it wouldn't take long and these guys would write music history with their forthcoming, new projects.
years have passed and Peter and Rodney always stayed in touch, when they met it would occasionally happen that the two would reminisce about the past, those days when they would rock the tape deck.
one of those chats inspired both to meet up again and to work on new music, the only guideline was to finish the business with the spirit and ideas that they started out with back in the days.
the first results of these new jam sessions are two amazing tracks, the spectacular "this is what u get" and the mind-blowing tune entitled "addicted to ganja"
