Podcasts some artists send are much anticipated and significant for us as we know those people in person, have gone a long way with them, living unbelievable days and nights full of music and conversations and drinks. Those people have entrusted us with the parts of themselves they left in Armenia, while the mixes they make are soundtracks to those particles. @jacobgroening and several other artists were the first to give us the feeling which drives us to create to this day, with the belief that everything we do and are involved in is meaningful and not in vain. We’re excited to share this smooth discovery with you: Alex Hövelmann’s Tequila Sunset is silk for your ears as we need it to get through this Monday morning.

Alex Hövelmann, a producer, DJ an live act out of Cologne (Germany), started to the play the drums at the young age of four years. Today, his tracks get to be played by the likes of Acid Pauli at the famous festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. 

Inspired by the music of Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse or Olaf Arnalds, Alex Hövelmann’s music let’s you dream and dance at the same time: spheric, melancholic and dynamic sounds that are sometimes driving, sometimes soothing. 

Alex got our first attention thanks to his wonderful Interpretation of Christian Löffler’s “Haul” a few months back. His most recent productions have been released on Heidentoc Rec, Eisenwaren and trndmsk. 

Besides producing music, Alex organizes events such as the Garten Eden Festival in his hometown Cologne. 

Is is with great pleasure we host this up-and-coming talent on our channel. Have a sip and get addicted to Alex Hövelmann’s sensational Tequila Sunset!
